Today's first question focuses on that guy up there, Mr. Royalty.
Yesterday, I took part in the epic showdown of the Dominance Offensive quest line and I was a little surprised to see Anduin as a lvl 15 NPC. Is this co-incidentally his current age?
I do believe Anduin is actually 15 years old now, yes.
Since Anduin was updated, I always thought he looked and sounded quite a bit older than 15, but puberty is one hell of a thing. I suppose if they made him look and sound too young, they would just end up updating it all over again and finding a new voice actor a year from now.
What is up with the wow insider show? Thought i saw one of the hosts talk about them recording it Christmas Eve but no show was posted last week.
We did record an episode on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, Adam came down with the zombie plague early last week, so he was unable to get it posted until now. Hopefully you'll see it soon.
Do you think Blizzard will ever bring in level scaling? for example, scaling down my gear when I'm in a party with a lower level player, so that my Lvl 90 would not just one-shot mobs.
Blizzard hasn't mentioned any intention of doing this in the recent past, but Challenge Modes prove that they could do it if they wanted to. Challenge Modes scale your gear down to the appropriate level, so why couldn't you do it voluntarily when grouping with low level players?
After reading the worgen perspective on Operation Shieldwall, I have a question: Ignoring game mechanics, are the lore figures such as Jaina, Garrosh, or Varian, more powerful than our characters? Is our power threatening to them, or are we basically ants?
The players are more powerful than your average Horde or Alliance grunt, but people like Jaina make us look like ants, yeah. Jaina Proudmoore is the most powerful mage on Azeroth, the players can't make a claim like that. We're a tier below that. When those characters need backup, the players are the people they'll choose to be their vanguard.
When purchasing auctioned items, why is it that sometimes immediately after purchase I can head to the mailbox and immediately retrieve the item, while other times I have to wait what seems like 30 seconds or more for the mailbox to "refresh" and show my item?
It's because your mailbox isn't constantly refreshing itself checking for new mail. It'll reload once every minute or so. You can manually refresh your mailbox (and the rest of your UI) by typing /reloadui (or is it still /console reloadui for the modless?) if you really can't wait.
