The latest WoW TCG set I was creative developer for, Betrayal of the Guardian, just had its full spoiler released -- you can check out the cards on the WoW TCG Facebook page. Hope you like 'em! Lots of Warcraft II stuff (and crocolisk nursery rhymes) in there.
I thought Gorehowl was Grom's axe? I read the Shattering when it came out, so I'm not too clear but I think Garrosh should drop whatever axe he used in the mak'gora against Carine instead. If it WAS Gorehowl, I think it would be a worthy reason to either move it off the Kara loot table or at some kind of adjective of superiority, though the latter would be a little awkward to see.
Gorehowl was definitely the axe that killed Cairne. Like I said yesterday, it's likely they'll pull an Ashkandi with it and just give it a qualifier.
Are Orcs still getting that +1% Hit rating from Wands that was discovered late-beta/early-5.0?
Don't believe so. It was a bug, as near as I can tell. A wand is not a fist weapon or axe.
what are your thoughts about the strange ability that comes with shadow magic, that allows the user to pull and lift things in the air?, you can see this in a necropolis, in the death knight`s spells, in a boss in Scholomance, etc etc, do you think it has to do something with dark matter or dark energy?
Death Grip is a direct reference to Sith powers from Star Wars, down to the tooltip. Strangulate is pretty clearly based on Force Choke, too.
Hi there. I'm quite new to the game and i did not get the point of hit capping. I have read on a lot of places that the hit cap is around 15%, but i only have 2750 of hit +-8,09% and the miss change for target level 93 is already 0.00%. So what i am missing here?
Casters need 15% hit; melee need 7.5% hit and 7.5% expertise. It's possible you were looking at your melee hit percentage on your stats panel instead of your spell hit one.
So is Outland 'stable'? Is it slowly, but continuously, eroding and falling apart? If it is, anyone care to guess how long it would take for it to be completely uninhabitable?
Outland is definitely deteriorating -- even a quick look around Hellfire Peninsula or Netherstorm will demonstrate that. As to how long it has, who knows? It took years for the Alliance base in Hellfire to start drifting off the continent, but it definitely drifted.
On the CoT instances: The TCG "War of the Ancients" saw the introduction of a new faction called the "Timewalkers". Since we're officially in the Age of Mortals now, perhaps it's up to ourselves now to find ways to replay events of the past? I'd love to explore scenarios and campaigns related to WC RTS or the books.
As the guy who designed and named most of the Timewalkers, I'd love for them to play a part in the MMO. A guy can dream...
