It's possible, sure, but it's gonna be a pain. Legs have a sizeable chunk of stats on them, and taking those stats away from every player in the raid puts you at a significant disadvantage.

Honestly, she's probably jumping for joy in some dark room because Garrosh is finally digging his own grave. The devs did say she'll play a part in this whole Garrosh affair; it's probably just not time for her close-up yet.

I believe the sales tax only applies based on the location from which you're buying; some states will charge sales tax on those purchases and some won't. Your state may also have weird laws about physical vs. digital sales.

It's in the nature of raid groups to fall apart. It might be a single boss, it might be a raid, it might be attendance. I don't think Throne of Thunder is going to be much different from previous tiers in terms of guild-destruction potential.
