WoW Insider has the latest on the Mists of Pandaria!

The Queue: EDDIE_MURPHY_LAUGH.wav

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

I just rewatched Beverly Hills Cop, so please enjoy the above sound and use as needed throughout your day.

richie.09 asked:

Is anyone else disappointed that Lorewalker Cho doesn't participate in any battles? Seeing him in the intro cinematic for Pandaria led me to believe that he would help us and have a role in fighting the Mogu. Instead, he just stands there and gives us a history lesson (In Mogu'shan Vaults).

That's not Cho in the intro cinematic; it's Chen Stormstout! Cho is a talker, not a fighter.

TheFraug asked:

Question about Realms: In the next couple of months I'm going to be moving from the East Coast to Colorado (which is awesome). Currently, my characters have a home on an Eastern Time Zone realm, so my question is: Is there an appreciable difference in lag when you live pretty far out of the specified time zone? Should I be trying to scout out a new realm?

(Side note - I'm mostly guildless, and with CRZ, I'm not super worried about running things with my RL friends if I swap servers)

With most modern broadband connections, you won't notice much difference between an east-coast or west-coast server. You may notice during actions that talk to the server a lot, like mass mail/auction interactions, but for most play, the difference is negligible. I wouldn't worry too much (unless you're also getting considerably worse internet access where you're moving).

Broleap asked:

With GC saying there will be a big announcement during Mists or rollout or whatever, but NOT new character models, what do you think the odds are its the tri-spec that was data mined ?

I don't think it's tri-spec. The devs said that the feature is a new feature, and (I believe) that it has to do with old content in some way. My personal bet is some kind of level scaling for older zones or questing/dungeoning with lowbie friends a la Guild Wars 2, but we'll see.

EWOKinLA asked:

I have been to every BLIZZCON, but this year they finally passed my price threshold.

Tickets were $175 in 2011 too, unless you mean your current price threshold, in which case, yeah, I feel you, dude.
