WoW Insider has the latest on the Mists of Pandaria!

The Queue: No, seriously

The Queue No, seriously
Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

I've been a pretty vocal critic of Diablo 3 in the past, and it still has its issues, but with the latest patch this game is insanely fun to play in Inferno. On Monster Power 1 or higher, the monster density is really high, especially in act 1, and it's an absolute blast to play through with others.

DanielHudson asked:

Still not following how Goblins can wield the Light. Wielders are supposed to be selfless from what I can tell. Goblins are the complete opposite, greedy little buggers.

You're probably thinking of paladins. Priests require discipline and force of will, not selflessness, to wield the light. Goblins are generally devoted to the almighty gold piece, so if the Light can help them get it, well, of course they'll use it. Light is money, friend!
StevenHolender asked:

Regarding the 33% less xp needed to level between 85 - 90, could I potentially log in after the patch and find I have gained an extra level without doing anything?

Commenter Ron2 answered this really well, so I'll just quote him:

No, the game won't level you up while you're away, just in case you didn't want that level. What'll happen is that your earned EXP for the current level will remain unchanged, but the EXP needed to reach the following level (and all future levels up to 90) will be reduced by 33%. If the nerf would have put you into the next level, you'll only go up to 1 EXP shy of leveling. You do not get credit for levels already completed.

For example, my level 86 warlock on the PTR was at 8,600,000 / 15,080,000 (57%). After the change, he was still level 86, but now he was 8,600,000 / 10,050,000 (86%). If I'd been a little further along on Patch Day Eve, like 11,000,000 / 15,080,000, when I logged in I'd still be level 86, but one experience point shy of leveling.

xy_zero asked:

I don't really play Horde (my highest just hit 72) and, after the purge of Dalaran, I assumed that Lor'themar (at the very least) knew about stealing the bell and the blood elves were doing what they had to to stave off Garrosh and all that jazz. It made sense. But then, finishing the last solo scenario for the Isle of Thunder, this happens:

(Jaina and Lor'themar are yelling at each other)
Lor'themar: The Sunreavers knew NOTHING of Garrosh's raid on Darnassus!
Aethas Sunreaver shifts uncomfortably.

Um...does Aethas shift because he somehow feels guilty about betraying the neutrality of Dalaran, or because he even lied to Lor'themar and Lor'themar really doesn't know about them sneaking into Darnassus and stealing the bell?

I feel like the second makes a whoooole lot more sense but if any Horde person could help me out, I'd much appreciate it. Or if it has been answered before and I missed it xD

Aethas shifts because he lied to Lor'themar; he did know about the plan to steal the bell. He was a very naughty elf.

gazaa07 asked:

Something bugged me about running Well of Eternity when it was new. Why were there statues of High / Blood elves instead of the normal Night Elves? High elves hadn't existed yet.

Those statues are highborne, not blood/high elves, the precursor to both races.

zengarzombolt11 asked:

which major feature you think is too late to add after all these years ?

I think we all know the answer to this question: dance studio. It's just a joke at this point. I don't think we'll ever see it and, honestly, I hope we never do.
