Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.
I've finally gotten a little bit into League of Legends. I've played a few matches last night and this morning, and I'm having a good time. Seems to be a nice PvP focused game (I know I late to the party on this one...). The only thing that bothers me is that one guy who always nerd rages at everything going on.
Ok, I get it. I died to a turret. I'm a terribad and a noob. It's only my first game... At one point I was actually yelled at in chat, "haven't you ever played this game before?!!!!eleventyonepointone." I just love it... and the ignore button.
Also my name is TheQueuebringer. Get it?
With the 50% toon services being offered, just what can a toon bring with them if they go to a new server? Does everything in void storage and the bank go with, what about heirlooms, and how much gold can you have?
That's a good question, and one that I've been meaning to look up and refresh myself on given I'm going to transfer a couple toons here shortly. The short answer is the following:
- All the stuff in your bag, bank, and void storage
- Your achievements
- Your ratings
- Your character's gold (up to 50k at level 81+), honor, justice, valor, and conquest
For a more detailed explanation, see Blizzard's help page.
Anyone have experience with character transfers ? I have an account that was used for refer a friend. I heard you can move characters between accounts. Would the character move to the same server but a different account ?
It can, if you want it. I'll make a statement to be super clear:
If you own both accounts, a character can be transferred between them and to a different server at the same time.
Has anyone else noticed that our toons seem to have gotten a *very* subtle upgrade? I was checking out my male orc on the character select page yesterday and saw that his nails actually appear to be chipped now. going to my one undead, there seems to be additional details to the bone joints and extra muscle shading.
I looked and I'm not noticing anything. It could be the shading/lighting that you're in and seeing these things, or it could also be that you're just noticing them for the first time. That happens to everyone though -- you've looked at these characters for eight+ years and all the sudden you're giving a closer look to them. It's at that point when you're going to pick up other things.
Just wondering, did Scatered Shots with Frostheim also bites the dust as others class columns?
No, he's just AFK dealing with moving, etc...
