World of Warcraft has changed a lot over the years, but never quite so much as when Cataclysm arrived and reshaped the old world of vanilla WoW. The expansion brought Blizzard's recent game design philosophy to zones that were certainly in need of it, and all in all, we've felt the change was for the better. However, there are times when we can't help but miss the world that was.

What I miss most? Original Orgrimmar, which wasn't quite the heavily armored fortress it's become today. But while I miss the original version, one of the fun things about a game like this is the way it can change. Will Orgrimmar -- or the rest of the world -- change yet again to become something new? Only time will tell.
