Wouldn't it just be simpler to close or destroy the Dark Portal? With Alliance and Horde forces stretched so thin over several continents as well as Outland and Deepholm, can they really afford to fight in another place? Let Garrosh go to the past which is not the past (whatever) and go riddance.
They tried blowing up the Dark Portal at the end of Warcraft II, and...it didn't work. Seems you can't just get rid of the portal once it's been opened, even if you blow up the stone around it.

You're correct; fall damage is calculated by a percentage of your health, which increases for every yard you fall. Safe Fall delays the beginning of these calculations by about 50%; that is, you can fall 50% further before fall damage begins. As for the actual distance, I'm honestly not sure. I tried to research it but it looks like no one on any of the major sites has done the calculations.

Blizzard said at BlizzCon that they're not planning to let alts share the main's garrison, but they're considering speed-up methods for them.

They said that this squish should give them a few expansions before they need to do it again. We'll see!
