World of Warcraft has changed a lot since the olden days of vanilla. Classes been redesigned, zones have be revamped, and a great deal of content has been added. But in some places the adding has also resulted in the removal of some really great gameplay.
My favorite now-lost moment? The Battle for the Undercity, which used to be the epic conclusion to the Wrathgate quest chain in Wrath of the Lich King. Today, if you finish the quest chain, you are sent to talk to Alexstraza, who no longer has a follow-up quest to give you. The event now cuts off abruptly, without any kind of conclusion -- and if you quest your way through WoW today, it's not the only story element that's been lost to the changing nature of the game. So tell me, readers -- what are your favorite memories of gaming moments lost to time?
