WoW Insider has the latest on the Mists of Pandaria!

The Queue: Red

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

There's a Transistor question in the mix today. I couldn't resist.

wrathofkublakhan asked:

How can First Aid be improved?

First Aid is probably the most difficult tradeskill to improve -- not due to a lack of ideas, but because it would have an enormous impact on gameplay. If First Aid was genuinely powerful, raid encounter balance would need to take it into consideration, and thus it's no longer optional. I think the best thing they could do is use First Aid as another outlet for "fun" items. For example, a vendor in Dalaran sells Intravenous Healing Potions. You set up an IV stand and your party can click it out of combat to regenerate health and mana. It was just a feast that didn't give any stats, but it was pretty cool.

That NPC also sells Antiseptic-Soaked Dressing, a Shirt-slot item that looks like bloody bandages. My warrior wears them under her armor. Because it's awesome.

Everything else that comes to mind is done better by other professions. First Aid could create medication that gives stat boosts ... but that's Alchemy. Or Cooking. Maybe we should go with the medieval European profession: barber surgeon. We'll set your broken bones, remove your infected leg, and give you a shave and a haircut when it's all over

@Orkchop asked:

What's some of your favorite Transistor builds?

I started out using Breach modified with Bounce as my primary nuke, which was fine for awhile. As I unlocked more abilities, though, I ended up going with Bounce modified with Purge and Crash with Load on a passive. Use Mask before that first Bounce. Stuns, slows, and explosions everywhere. Buffing the crap out of Cull seems to be what the min/maxers are doing, though. You can one-shot almost anything in the game with a superpower backstab Cull.

This must be pretty confusing to someone who has never played Transistor, huh? Probably what it feels like to hear WoW players blather on if you've never played.

@Roseland1985 asked:

will gnomes ever get to have a Tauren mount?

Yes. The day tauren get a gnome mount.

HerrKlokbok asked:

An almost completely unrelated WoW question: What's your favourite dessert?

Does it count if I can't make them at home? I mean, technically I could, but I won't. I'm a sucker for bismarcks. Uh, I think that's what they're called. The donuts with custard inside. I don't know, I just grab 'em at the grocery. I don't know silly things like names.

Shaostormstout asked:

The lack of information regarding Warcraft movie is really annoying. It feels as if everyone involved has no confidence in the project. I know they're showing some kind of a trailer in July at Comic Con but why don't they do both and show it at Comic Con and for people who couldn't get bloody tickets to the event. Why does it have to be exclusive only for the comic con.

Part of this, and likely a big part, is Hollywood's ingrained processes. While Blizzard is certainly involved in the making of the film, the other parties involved are actually making it. Comic-Con is the de facto hype outlet for all things nerdy and tends to get all of the first-look exclusive trailers. That's a behemoth Blizzard likely can't budge. In the grand scheme of things, BlizzCon might actually be seen as a Comic-Con competitor when gauging where to release big information. BlizzCon has the Blizzard fans, but Comic-Con has a far greater reach. The Warcraft movie, to be successful, needs to reach more than WoW players.

Beyond a trailer, though, I'm not sure what details you're looking for. The movie just finished filming. We know the cast and we know the basic plot, considering it involves Durotan and Lothar. It's slated to release in early 2016. Do you usually know more than that about a movie so far in advance of its release?
