After months of eager anticipation, it appears the Warlords of Draenor Friends & Family Alpha Test may finally be upon us. Community members are reporting that they have received invitations and others state the alpha client has appeared on the Battle.net launcher, as seen above.

Though invitations are being sent, the alpha doesn't appear to be playable quite yet -- launching the client yields an "unable to validate game version" error. As soon as the alpha becomes playable, WoW Insider will be diving in.
