The Queue: Garrisons, content, models, and excitement

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.
We'll just jump right down into it today.
Alkaline asked:
Do you think blizzard is intentionally holding back content from the launch WoD in order to avoid another content drought like post 5.4
No, I don't think they're doing that. If anything I think that they're planning more than they have before. It seems that they fully realize how bad of a situation they've made for themselves with this year-long drought, and they must avoid it again.
Blizzard also doesn't hold content; or at least they've never done that in the past. Their content comes out when it's ready, and that's pretty much that.
Kaleli asked:
So we have probably just a week left of the models we know and loved for a decade... Any last words to your beloved pixels?
There's an option in the graphics settings to change back to the old models, so I doubt there'll be any big upset about the new models, assuming people don't like them. Now that said, I do have some choice words for my blocky humans... namely go away. Go away forever and never return.
Loligigs asked:
For garrisons how permanent is everything? I haven't been paying too much attention and I kinda want to just play and discover but at the same time I don't want to be locked into a setting I won't want later.
They're entirely adjustable, it's just going to cost gold, resources, and time. You're able to bring down buildings and build new ones up, so it's never a situation that you can't change.
That said, be prepared to not do that -- get it set up and keep it. Things will be much better if you do the research ahead of time as to what you're going to want at 100.
RufusHonker asked:
Are we supposed to still be excited about you having the latest on Mists of Pandaria, as it says at the top of the front page?
Hell yes.
