World of Warcraft is now on sale for $4.99. If you're thinking about getting someone into the game, or are looking at picking up a secondary account for yourself, this is a good opportunity to do so. The sale only goes until next Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. PST, so you'll want to act fast if you're intending to pick it up.

This is the base game that's on sale -- that means everything up to and including Mists of Pandaria. You'll need to purchase Warlords of Draenor separately to gain access to the features in the current expansion.
