WoW Insider has the latest on the Mists of Pandaria!

WoW Insider is Azeroth’s largest blog and information site, covering the latest news, analysis and opinion from all around the World of Warcraft.  Since our launch in 2005, we’ve brought the WoW community daily updates on everything from achievements through Zul’Gurub, from the demonic legions’ march in The Burning Crusade through the cold, wintery north of Wrath of the Lich King and exploding into Cataclysm, plus the most extensive coverage on the web for events like BlizzCon and the World Wide Invitational.

WoW Insider is part of the Joystiq network of game sites, which is owned and operated by AOL. WoW Insider is an unofficial World of Warcraft site and is in no way endorsed, sponsored or supported by Blizzard Entertainment.

Alex Ziebart

Editor-in-Chief (email)

Alex Ziebart started his professional life working the sorts of jobs that cause one to experiment with dollar store seafood and potted meat. During this dark period, his only joy was the guild he started with a group of friends in a little game called World of Warcraft. He toiled away by day and gamed by night until a little over three years ago when he saw his chance to rise from the obscurity of retail into the glamorous and prestigious profession of blogging. Starting as a simple contributor before working his way up to editor, Alex has merged business and pleasure to make a career. Alex currently lives in Milwaukee, Wis., and is neither blonde nor a girl in real life.

Alex writes The Queue and WoW Archivist.

Adam Holisky

Managing Editor (email)

In the real world, Adam Holisky is an editor at WoW Insider focusing on the day-to-day running of the site, as well as pushing forward a few large projects whenever he has time. In the World of Warcraft, he can be found running through Azeroth on any one of his numerous characters, although he still has a special spot in his heart for his warrior, the first character he created and the first character he cleared all the content with.

Adam writes The Queue and Today in WoW and makes sure the WoW Insider Show always sounds its best.

Michael Sacco

Senior Editor (email)

Former official Blizzard forum rep Mike Sacco figured the next best thing to writing for WoW was writing about WoW, and so far he hasn't been wrong. When he's not reporting on elves, you can find him designing games and writing a book.

Mike writes The Queue, Ask a Faction Leader, hosts the WoW Insider Show and manages our Twitter and Facebook pages.

Lisa Poisso

Editor (email)

When she's not interviewing WoW players such as the raider who guides his friend, an ex-soldier blinded in Iraq, through current raid content or actor Kristian Nairn (Hodor, Game of Thrones),  she puzzles out readers' social dilemmas as one of the Drama Mamas.

Michael Gray

Feature Content Director (email)

Michael Gray has been with WoW Insider for nearly three years and is a veteran of more MMOs than he'd like to admit. As a dedicated tank and PvPer, he considers his video game hobby to mostly be an unending quest to find new, creative ways to die horribly.

Anne Stickney

Contributing Editor (email)

Anne Stickney has been playing World of Warcraft since its original launch and is an avid fan of both the game itself and the lore and story surrounding the Warcraft universe. She's currently raiding as a level 85 rogue and enjoys sunsets, long walks on the beach, and repeatedly stabbing things in the butt for fun and profit, as well as making up fanciful stories about Elune's naaru origins..

Basil Berntsen

Contributing Editor (email)

So you want to make gold in WoW? Euripides is here to help! Auction house PvP is the only true PvP -- there are no relevant racials, all classes are equally balanced, and the only differentiators are knowledge and guts.

Brian Wood

Contributing Editor (email)

Brian "Frostheim" Wood plays a dwarven hunter on Icecrown where he's raided since vanilla as well as PvPing and soloing everything from Violet Hold to Ragnaros to Sartharion. He believes in science, logic, and rational thought and sees the world through DPS-colored goggles. These Frostheim Goggles strip away meaningless minutiae like emotions and tact and leave only facts and data. He spends too much time at the target dummies and too much gold on respecs.

Dan Desmond

Contributing Editor (email)

When he isn't struggling to redeem his fellow retribution paladins of the charge of killing Ghostcrawler's parents, Dan toils his days away working in a protein laboratory in Minnesota, sorting them by mass, charge, and musical tastes. He also writes the better portion of The Light and How to Swing It, though you didn't hear it from him.

Chase Christian

Contributing Editor (email)

Chase is a network engineer by trade, having majored in physics/engineering at Southern Oregon University. His mathematical approach to World of Warcraft makes him an avid theorycrafter and frequent forum poster. Chase currently writes the weekly columns for rogues (Encrypted Text) and holy paladins (The Light and How to Swing It).

Chase Hasbrouck

Contributing Editor (email)

Chase Hasbrouck, aka Alaron of the Fluid Druid and World of Monkcraft blogs, is your best bet for mastering a monk or doing dominating Druid DPS. When not writing about monks or druids, he's probably fixing someone's computer or dying horribly in a first-person shooter.

Christian Belt

Contributing Editor

Christian is a freelance writer who spends his days engaged in interstellar piracy and his nights traveling through time to right the wrongs of the past. He lives in Las Vegas with his wife and two daughters, rolling out of bed every Saturday morning to write Arcane Brilliance, WoW Insider's mage column, as he has every week for the past two years. He has an irrational and well-documented hatred for warlocks and also harbors a secret love for pie.

Daniel Whitcomb

Contributing Editor

Daniel Whitcomb, author of Lichborne for death knights, has been an MMO player since the early days of the genre, cutting his teeth on AOL-hosted text games like Gemstone III and the early graphic MUDs Shadows of Yserbius and Ruins of Cawdor. He also played a wide variety of other MMOs before coming to WoW, including EverQuest, Dark Age of Camelot, and The Realm. He current resides in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.

She lives in North Carolina with her husband and son.

Fox Van Allen

Contributing Editor (email)

Fox Van Allen (yes, that's his legal name) authors the shadow priest half of the Spiritual Guidance column, the Monday edition of Gold Capped, and the weekly WRUP roundup. Fox has a deep 8-bit heritage and makes it a point to beat the original The Legend of Zelda at least once every year. He is also an egotistical monster.

Joe Perez

Contributing Editor (email)

Joe writes the restoration edition of Totem Talk and is a raiding restoration shaman who can be found in the dwarven district of Stormwind on Ner'Zhul. He is Matt Low's right-hand shaman over at World of Matticus and healing lead for Conquest. He is also co-host of the weekly gaming podcast For The Lore and WoW podcast Raid Warning. In his spare time, he is an amateur game designer.

Josh Myers

Contributing Editor (email)

In the World of Warcraft, Josh Myers is a terribly large cow shaman/guild officer/progression raider by the name of Elamqt. For WoW Insider, he writes about both specs of DPS shaman in Totem Talk. His likes include long walks on the beach, Windfury crits, and Mulgore. When he's not on his shaman, he can be found playing any one of his nearly limitless number of alts, most of which he has some form of raid experience on.

Matt Low

Matticus writes the Raid Rx column for raid healers and pitches in on other Warcraft-related news. In his spare time, he is a guild master, raid leader, and healing coordinator. He is also the main dwarf behind World of Matticus, the Matticast podcast, and No Stock UI.

Contributing Editor

Matthew Rossi has been writing for almost 20 years. He's the author of Things That Never Were and has been published in Pyramid, Fantastic Metropolis, and Postscripts magazines. He writes The Care and Feeding of Warriors and Know Your Lore for WoW Insider. In game, he gets hit in the face a lot.

Matt Walsh

Contributing Editor

Matt (yes, another Matt) is a technical editor based out of Boston, Mass., and a protection paladin on the Lightninghoof server. He spends most of his time receiving concussions for the benefit of 24 other people, obsessing over his hair (a blood elf racial!), and maintaining the tankadin-focused blog Righteous Defense.

MEGAN O'NEILL

Contributing Editor

Megan O'Neill took up the cursed column Blood Pact in March 2012, but she's been writing about warlocks on her blog Fel Concentration since 2010 and flinging fel fire nonstop since 2008. By day, she roots for the Virginia Tech Hokies in their hometown; by night, she plots with her minions on world domination. She can be bribed with Life Gripping mages into voidzones and can often be found out fishing, doing archaeology, completing dailies, or attempting to solo a dungeon with her bear druid.

Olivia Grace

Contributing Editor (email)

Olivia hails from the sunny southeast of England, where she splits her time between studying anthropology, knitting stripy hats, evicting snails from her vegetable garden and playing WoW. She previously studied English and German at Oxford and spent many long years managing European commercial real estate. She writes Blood Sport and Addon Spotlight for WoW Insider. In Azeroth, she spends most of her time as a restoration shaman turning people into frogs.

Robin Torres

Contributing Editor (email)

Robin is a Drama Mama, It Came from the Blog guild leader, stay-at-home mom and yarn addict. Casual play is her thing, but she hangs out in a raiding guild when not playing one of her many alts.
