It's been a while, but the list of EU realms slated for the Realm Connection service has been recently updated with new information and new realms in regards to upcoming dates for the service. Please note that these updates are for EU realms only. There have been no updates for US Realm Connections. Today's update is just a small one, with only one set of connections scheduled for next week -- at the moment, there are no other planned connections listed as either in the works or scheduled.

The following EU realms are scheduled for connection on Wednesday, October 8.

English Realms
  • Eonar and Vek'nilash/Blade's Edge
  • Steamwheedle Cartel and Moonglade/The Sha'tar
German Realms
  • Das Konsortium and Die Arguswacht/Die Todeskrallen/Das Syndikat/Der Abyssische Rat/Kult der Verdammten

If you're on a low-population realm, but not on the above list, keep in mind that realm connections are an ongoing process, and you may see your realm added to the list over the next several weeks. Also keep in mind that planned connections may change at any time, but Blizzard will keep us updated on changes -- realms may be added or removed from the list at any point in time. At the present time, there are no additional updates for US realms -- all US realm connections have been completed as of last Thursday, and there are no further US connections scheduled at the moment. EU realms, however, still have plenty of realms left on the connection schedule.

If you are on a realm that is scheduled to be connected, be aware that Realm Connections take place on Thursdays rather than during Tuesday maintenance. Scheduled realms are brought down at approximately 5am PDT, and back up at approximately 1pm PDT. And just in case you're wondering what exactly this Realm Connection process will do for you, the player, Blizzard has a handy blog on the subject that explains things in detail.

Another update to the Realm Connection list has been made, with realms scheduled to be connected on the 17th and 24th of July. As is always the case, these connections will take place on Thursdays, and are scheduled to occur between 5:00 AM PDT and 1:00 PM PDT.

This month's scheduled realm connections are:
  • Thursday, July 17th
    • Dawnbringer and Madoran
    • Zuluhed and Andorhal, Scilla, and Ursin
  • Thursday, July 24th
    • Deathwing and Executus, Kalecgos, and Shattered Halls
    • Gilneas and Elune
Also on the list but not scheduled yet are Malfurion and Trollbane, and The Venture Co and Maelstrom. As a player, I hope these go without a hitch as my main is on Elune.

There are two sets of scheduled dates, as well as a few realms that have been added for an upcoming realm connection, with no date scheduled just yet.

The list of US realms slated for the Realm Connection service has now been updated with new information regarding upcoming dates for the service. Players on Borean Tundra, Shadowsong, Dreden, and Arathor may want to note that the scheduled dates for connection of these realms have changed.

The following realms have been scheduled for connection on Thursday, April 3.
  • Borean Tundra and Shadowsong
  • Dath'Remar and Khaz'goroth

The list of US realms slated for the Realm Connection service has now been updated with new information regarding upcoming dates for the service. Four new realms have been added to the pending list for realm connections, but as of yet, there's still no update to the realms that have been postponed.

The following realms are scheduled to be connected on Thursday, March 27.
  • Borean Tundra and Shadowsong
  • Thorium Brotherhood and Farstriders/Silver Hand
  • Sentinels and Kirin Tor/Steamwheedle Cartel

The list of US realms slated for the Realm Connection service has now been updated with new information regarding upcoming dates for the service, as well as some minor rescheduling for one set of realms that was slated for connection this week. Realms that have been postponed indefinitely still do not have an update as to if or when they will be re-added to the connection schedule.

The following realms are scheduled to be connected on Thursday, March 13 -- players on Drak'thul and Skywall may want to note that their connection scheduled for last week has been pushed forward to this date.
  • Drak'thul and Skywall-rescheduled from 3/6
  • Dreadmaul and Thaurissan
  • Exodar and Medivh
  • Scarlet Crusade and Feathermoon
