- Balnir Farmstead
Balnir Farmstead is a pretty typical place, but sports a rather picturesque garden, frequented by local ghosts.
- Brill
This is a view of Brill, the only town and main quest hub in Tirisfal Glades, which lies directly opposite Undercity, beyond the zeppelin towers. The building pictured houses miners, blacksmiths, anvils, and forges.
- Basement of the Gallow's End Tavern
This tavern is known for its legendary achievement of being the only tavern that is its own zone! The people of Brill seem to take their drinking and carousing very seriously; any attacks are dutifully reported in defense channels. The two unfortunate souls pictured above don't know yet that they're guinea pigs in a very nasty experiment. On the upside, the mountaineer respawns with a random appearance.
- Brill cemetery
Brill has a rather large cemetery just outside of its gates that houses the odd quest, curiosity, and surrounding fences that actually work, making shortcuts a little more difficult. Now, if only the barriers on the bridges spanning Thunder Bluff's rises were that solid!
- A random gravesite
This gravesite appears to be recent - or is that, recently dug up? The inscription on the stone reads: INVINCIBLE. Beloved steed of Prince Arthas Menethil. Loyal and great of heart in life. May you find peace in death. Pure streams and green pastures, devoted friend.
- Gordo crossing the foot bridge out of Brill
Gordo grants the Horde quest, Gordo's Task, which involves gathering quest-only plants and delivering them for him. If you watch him, he will seemingly aggro a plant, rush in, and whack it to death! This is how he herbalizes. Too bad he has his instructions wrong - Gloom Weed isn't quite the same thing as Doom Weed.
- Gates into Deathknell
These gates loom imposingly above any adventurer daring to pass through and disturb the peace of the youngest Tirisfal recruits. It's a good thing those guards are pretty ineffectual.
- Samuel Fipps and co
Marla Fipps, loving and devoted wife, survived the plague only to die, ironically, at the hands of her freshly undead husband. Her dying wish was to have his zombie form slain, and his remains buried alongside her. The names of Samuel and his buddies are actually homages to the members of Oingo Boingo, an American '80s band, whose party you seem to be crashing for a few experience points.
- Night Web's Hollow
This seemingly cheerful looking cave is not for the arachnophobe. Settled within the starting zone, these spiders can prove especially dangerous to classes that kill slower, as their respawn timers seem to coincide perfectly with one's retreat schedule.
- Foot bridge at Agamand Mills
This screenshot showcases one of the many mills in the Agamand region, as well as a typical undead foe that one might encounter.
- Agamand Mills Silos
Agamand Mills is one of those quest zones that is notorious for causing players to run back and forth along the map in order to complete their quest chains! Consequently, a lot of time is spent in this region.
- Gunther's Retreat
Pictured here is Gunther Arcanus at his Retreat on a small island in the local lake. The quest chain involving him is a bit of a pain, and involves a lot of running and swimming back and forth. Yet, from a lore perspective, it's rather worthwhile, and makes an impression on a first time player.
- Broken Crusader Outpost
Tirisfal Glades is host to numerous Crusader Outposts in various states of disrepair, all linked together in one long quest chain.
- Undercity's sewer entrance
Patrons of the Undercity flying in from out of town get treated to a fragrant tour through the city's sewer system. While this shows an ingenious use of existing resources, it does pose a rather hefty security risk.
- A view of Tirisfal's zeppelin towers
Even during the daylight, the zeppelin towers are shrouded in mist.
- Faol's Rest
This morbidly beautiful little gardened graveyard stops seeming so quaint after a couple of deaths in Scarlet Monastery; it is a rather annoying run back. It also houses a statue and shrine, presumably to honor the Archbishop Faol who died prior to the coming of the Scourge.
- Hanging dead
Members of the Scarlet Crusade guarding the grounds outside of the Scarlet Monastery do not take kindly to trespassers.
- Scarlet Monastery
This is a view of the outside of the Scarlet Monastery. Despite being located in Tirisfal Glades, it is not for those still progressing through the zone!
- Scarlet Monastery gardens
If you run around the outside of the Scarlet Monastery, you will find freshly manicured shrubbery and a rather pompous looking fountain.
- The Bulwark
Located in the far east of Tirisfal Glades, the Bulwark is set up to aid brave adventurers traveling into the Plaguelands. Its secondary function is to warn young heroes away; yet, the lure of a plague bear in the distance has occasionally proved irresistible.
