- Say hello to my little friend
This is my freshly tamed pet Ironhide Devilsaur. As you can see, he's shrunk, but he's still definitely a big boy.
- Bestial Wrath kills
He's even bigger when I pop Bestial Wrath.
- Taking a bite out of evil
Here you can see his skills, including the new family-specific skill Monstrous Bite. Hopefully there's higher ranks with more damage coming.
- Monstrous buff
Here, you can see the buff in action. You'll notice the buff itself claims to boost total damage rather than simply AP. Both tooltips fail to mention that it makes the Devilsaur noticeably larger, which is a pretty cool side effect.
- My what big... everything you have!
Just to give you a further idea of how big this fellow really is, here he is next to General Tiris'alan in Shattrath City
- Now I'm just showing off
And because I can't resist, here's another shot of him hulking out. Whoever thought Draenei could look that small?
Just for posterity, here's a picture of his talent tree. At least for now, it's just a plain old run of the mill Ferocity talent tree, although slightly bugged in that it has no place for Charge.
- New Beast Lore
More exotic pets have been added in the latest Beta build!
Here, you can see the new Beast Lore tool tips, which mark whether the pet in question is Exotic or not.
- Silithid Pet
This is my new pet Silithid. He's actually a pretty nervous little guy, and prances around a lot. I actually imagine Blizzard may tone that down, as it does get slightly annoying after a while.
This was the only tamable Silithid model I could find. The other three are still not beasts, and therefore not tamable.
- Venom Web Spray
Here, you can see the Silithid's abilities. You will notice that the resistance abilities are completely gone.
Venom Web Spray, unfortunately, has the same problem as almost every other new movement reduction pet ability -- a very restrictive cooldown. It's also not very unique, as Spiders already have a rooting move.
- Enter the Jormungar
I found this dude wandering around the Borean Tundra, in the Northeast near the Scourge. He nearly killed me while I was taming him, mostly because I forgot to drag him over my trap in my excitement. Or maybe because I walked without rhythm.
He's definitely a big one, maybe even bigger than my devilsaur!
- Acid Spit
Here you can see his abilities, including the family ability Acid Spit.
Unfortunately, there's no indication of how much the armor reduction is, but if it's decent, and if it stacks with Sunder Armor and Faerie Fire, it could be a pretty nice ability indeed.
- Hey Tenacity
Here's a shot of my worm's talent tree. You'll notice the awesomeness that is the 5 extra talent points.
- Big Red Worm
Yes, here's the obligatory hulking out picture. My worm gets pretty huge.
- Dredge Loser
Here's my Jormungar's plain jane southern cousin. I feel a bit sorry for him. I doubt many will choose him for a pet over the much flashier Northrend model.
Here you can see an example of a Chimera pet. This is a Chillwind Ravager I tamed in Winterspring.
It has a nice looking family ability, although the slow portion doesn't seem to work yet, and it doesn't play nice with autocast either.
