- Entrance to Westfall
Sitting on the river at the southwest curve of Elwynn Forest is the gate to Westfall.
- Familiar Farmers...
Farmer Furlbrow and his wife, Verna, greet you with quests. Old Blanchy stands behind them.
- Something's Cookin'
The Saldean farm has Farmer Saldean and his wife Salma, who has some of the most appetizing recipes in Azeroth.
- Sentinel Hill
The Sentinel Hill Tower is the iconic landmark of Westfall and a major quest hub.
- The Traitor
Protector Bialon watches over the Defias Traitor. This gentleman helps Alliance players learn the plans of the Defias.
- Gryan Stoutmantle
Gryan Stoutmantle is the proud leader of the People's Militia. He charges young adventurers to take down Edward Van Cleef, head of the Defias Brotherhood.
- On Gryphon's Wings
Thor is the gryphon master of Westfall, sending Alliance players to other zones.
Gina and William MacGregor are an enterprising couple who help sell trade supplies and weapons. Willian is a bowyer and can repair armor.
The inn in Westfall is where players can set their hearthstones to, switch pets and mail off letters. Innkeeper Heather runs the place.
The Defias camp over the hill from the Sentinel Hill settlement is one of many that players will encounter in the zone. These mobs in particular are for People's Militia Quest.
- Moonbrook
Moonbrook is the ghost town where the Defias hide out and have their main base, the Deadmines.
- Profiteering
The Defias Profiteer is a Horde and Alliance friendly NPC that is located upstairs in the inn in Moonbrook. He can repair gear as well as sell a couple limited-stock items.
The Moonbrook schoolhouse was once a bastion of learning under its director, Stalvan Mistmantle.
The entrance for the Deadmines lies in the barn in Moonbrook. Many Defias still lurk here.
Even undead exist in the Deadmines amongst the humans. Some skeletal miners, undead dynamiters and evacators work here. Adventurers can come kill these mobs for mining cards for Wilder Thistlenettle's quest in Stormwind.
The instance entrance for Deadmines is buried deep within the winding tunnels and is surrounded by Defias miners.
The exit for Deadmines opens out on a hill near the coast.
The Stilwell farm sits just below the Deadmines.
Daphne Stilwell runs her farm well and is part of the Tome of Valor quest chain, which eventually leads paladins on their Verigan's Fist questline.
Kriggon Talsone is a fisherman on beach of Westfall. He sells a couple early cooking recipes including Spiced Chili Crab. He is the only Alliance vendor to do so.
- Westfall Lighthouse
A noteworthy landmark is the Westfall Lighthouse.
Captain Grayson stands silently at the lighthouse, handing out quests to both Horde and Alliance - some are to kill murlocs, one is to help keep the lighthouse's flame lit at night.
- Old Murk-Eye
One of the more ruthless murlocs that inhabit the beaches of Westfall is named Old Murk-Eye.
Despite the lighthouse, the husks of many shipwrecked boats dot the coastline.
Captain Sander's island lies west off the coast of Westfall and is where he left his treasure chest.
This is Captain Sander's treasure chest. Players who complete the quest chain and clues can receive Captain Sander's white pirate shirt, sash, silver bar and an 8-slot bag.
Gnoll camps are scattered across the landscape of Westfall and can pose a real threat to beginning players.
- Gold Coast Quarry
Inside the Gold Coast Quarry hides Defias looters and mages.
Furlbrow's farm is overrun with harvest watchers and Defias. Benny Blaanco hides in the house near the barn and will attack anyone trying to retrieve Farmer Furlbrow's pocketwatch from the wardrobe.
Jangalode Mine is rich with minerals, perfect for Defias and kobolds.
The Defias Messenger patrols the lonely roads all around Westfall. Adventurers can track him down to find information about the Defias for Gryan Stoutmantle.
- The Hills Have Daggers
Dagger Hill is where some of the most dangerous members of the Defias patrol.
Grimbooze Thunderbrew, a dwarf in Dagger Hills, gives players a chance to collect materials and help him produce Thunderbrew Lager.

Enterprising rogues can help SI:7 infiltrate Klaven's Tower, a tower for the Defias on the river near Duskwood.
The covered bridge over the river leads the road out of Westfall and into neighboring Duskwood.
