- Step 1
Gather your supplies.

Place your shirt over your t-shirt board or put some cardboard on the inside to protect the back of the shirt. Position your murloc outline under the front of the shirt and tape it to the cardboard.

Begin tracing the outline of the murloc with the black fabric pen. Use short and light strokes because the fabric tends to move.
- Step 4
When you've finished your outline, it should look like this.
- Step 5
Color in the outline with your fabric pens.
- Step 6
To color in his body, lightly sketch in the green.
- Step 7
Go over the green with yellow and use your blender pen to mix the colors a bit.
- Step 8
If you find yourself needing a lighter color marker that you didn't purchase, you can scribble the marker on some foil and pick it up with the blender pen and blend it into the fabric.
- Step 9
The result of blending with the ink on foil is effect of the light blue I've created on the flag.
- Step 10
This is also a good technique for dirtying up the greens with the brown marker.
