Apr 14th 2010 11:31AM Not a fan of re-engineering Beacon to work with only FoL; FoL hits like spitwads on everything but a clothie (warlocks excepted); what benefit is there is duplicating those tiny heals on a tank?
Also not seeing anything to address our poverty in healing on movement-heavy fights, which pretty much describes all of ICC and the direction Blizzard is headed.
BoM & SS tweaks are nice, but hardly game changing.
Healing Hands...jury is out. Has less than 50% uptime (6 seconds out of every 15) and is supposed to be on par with healing stream totem? Better heal for a lot more than that or have a heckuva range to it.
At least we got a situation smart heal, that's something.
Dec 22nd 2009 4:13PM Why do I foresee a lot of forum responses now being done in the following format?
Jun 9th 2009 5:57PM Once you merge, you need to use your Battle.net password from now on, not just your email as your login.
Apr 30th 2009 10:34AM I remember reading somewhere that the actor playing Torgo actually created the appliances, and that they were quite painful to wear after a while (which might explain why he never really did get the hang of walking while wearing them).
Also, he commited suicide shotly after the movie's release. Sad.
Apr 16th 2009 10:41AM I lucked out and got Anzu the same day the patch that introduced him came out. Best 92 I ever rolled. :)
I remember getting totally swamped with tells anytime I'd go to a capital city with him for the first month or so, to the point that I switched back to my charger if I needed to get actual business done. But now, there's a lot of people on Dalaran who have him, so he's definitely getting farmed.

You're right, this is why there is a healer shortage...for PUGs. The good guilds treat their healers like gold.
FWIW, this kind of experience is why I stay out of BGs unless they're guild pre-mades. Getting screamed at by 15 yo smacktards for not healing them while they're chasing down a meaningless HK, while I'm simultaneously getting dogpiled by the Horde with no one coming to my rescue, is not my idea of fun.
Most healers I know avoid PUGs like the plague.

>>Calling out if someone is in a void zone is helpfull, yes, as that person can react. But if someone needs heals, the last thing a healer wants is to hear someone say "X needs healing".
It depends. On KT, the visual effect for ice block shows up before it registers on the heal bars, so I am perfectly content to hear "heal X - iceblocked" over Vent. Makes my reaction time that much quicker.
But yet, for the most, I don't tell folks how to DPS or Tank, ergo...
Feb 11th 2009 3:03PM >> I always find it amazing when someone calls over Vent or in Chat... "HEAL ME!!!!"
What's even more amazing is when folks think you somehow know who "me" is over voice comms. Same thing with "I", as in, "I need a Kings rebuff". Sometimes you can tell, most times you can't.
Pro tip: "Me" and "I" are not character names. If you want something in a hurry, talk in the third person.
Nov 5th 2008 6:15PM Not that I wish this for anyone, but Amazon.com was fail for my TBC CE. They originally told me I'd get it on launch day, but ultimately didn't get it until over a week later. Two other people in my guild had the same experience, so I know it wasn't an isolated incident.
I just hope they come through for me this time...
