Nov 5th 2008 4:01PM Order one, which is great news, since GameStop informed me Tuesday that they were not going to honor my CE pre-order because the employee that sold it to me wasn't authorized to do so.
But did anyone get a notification email from Amazon.com that the stock came in? I had signed up to be notified when it came available but only found out because I came to WI. Nothing in my spam folder, either.
Oct 27th 2008 8:15PM And in an amusing twist of fate, both Dalaran and Thrall have been done for the last 45 minutes. So epic, it knocked out the servers...
Oct 25th 2008 2:06PM Holy was already the lowest DPS of the healing classes; GC even acknowledged it on the paladin forums. So the solution is to nerf Holy DPS further, without something to compensate?
Oct 2nd 2008 12:35PM "and to stop holy paladins speccing ret to heal, which would make sense, surely?"
What would make sense is fixing the problem that is driving healers to the ret tree in the first place.
Why Blizzard is surprised at the healadin community's response to Holy in beta is the real mystery.
Oct 1st 2008 9:30PM Not a typo. She has been calling it "bacon" for weeks now. Pretty telling when even the blues make fun of your talents...
Sep 13th 2008 10:43PM "5. I try to be nice to everyone"
"6. Unless you're a twat"
Indeed, sir. Indeed.
Aug 30th 2008 10:57PM I tend to be skeptical about the effect of the new Beacon as well. With downranking going away, odds are that you will be using FoL for most of your non-tank healing now; considering the relative disparity between the health pools of tanks vs. non-tanks, having Beacon duplicate the FoL on the tank is really a drop in the bucket. I mean, have you seen what the new max rank FoL heals for?
Sure, you could hit the non-tank with a HL, but then you risk losing much of that to overhealing, and only the effective amount healed is applied to the tank, which is - again - a likely drop in the bucket.
The doubling effect of casting directly on the tank almost certainly has to be a bug, based on the talent description, and the fact that it doesn't work when placed on the casting paladin.
So, I'm definitely trying to keep an open mind here, but so far I'm not convinced that it's truly a worthy 51 point talent. I'd like to hear more opposing arguments.
Aug 30th 2008 10:40PM The strangest part of all of this is that Blizzard is actually *rewarding* players for turning Blizzard's years of effort on this expansion into two-day power grind.
"Hey guys, we worked reeeeally hard on this so we want you to completely ignore everything on your way to 80, except how to max out your XP gains. M'kay?"
Aug 11th 2008 1:19PM I've experienced the "disappearing boat bug" - stranded out in the middle of fatigue water. Let the good times roll.
My favorite tho was a bug, I don't remember what patch, where paladins could perform a certain level of judgment of righteousness and suddenly found themselves mounted on a black war kodo. Now *that* was fun.
