WoW Insider's first World of Warcraft memories {WoW}
Nov 24th 2011 2:34PM My first memory was of approaching the wooden bridge between Westfall and Duskwood, of how creepy it looked on the other side, and how I suddenly became PVP flagged as I walked across it. I remember panicking and hearthing back to Stormwind and hiding in the Inn until my PVP flag wore off.
I played on a PVP server for the next two years, and played on PVE and PVP servers ever since, but I still remember that first time I flagged for PVP so clearly to this day.

How to make money playing the glyph market {WoW}
Nov 14th 2011 7:06PM Abbadon,
Had a similar competitor on my server. Guy was getting herbs cheap somewhere and selling glyphs at a couple of copper over cost. I know he was still making gold, but no one else could afford to match/undercut his prices.
Then he stopped playing for a few months, and the glyph markets rebounded. Suddenly, there were several people listing, but everyone was making gold, so everyone was happy. Glyphs didn't cost too much (though of course, buyers complained because they were paying more than 10g for a glyph) either.
Recently, he started playing again. I saw him online a couple times, but he never seemed to be listing anything, so I began thinking maybe he'd gotten out of the market - until one morning when I saw that familiar block of cut-rate glyphs.
Ah well, it was fun while it lasted. :)
