Kisirani implies the return of the Scourge Invasion event {WoW}

Please reread the post you commented on.

He was referring to the Scourge attacking Shat as suicide.

WWI '08 Panel: Rogues {WoW}

Jun 28th 2008 10:10PM Screw all of this.

I'd give anything for them to make Eviscerate finally scale properly.

My crit Sinister Strikes should NOT be beating my crit Eviscerates on trash; ever.

The sap changes are nice, sure, but meh.
And seriously! Make daggers comparable to swords on DPS. My Shard of Azzinoth just sits there in the bank, waiting for me to take it out to play.

New tabards from WoW TCG {WoW}

Jun 25th 2008 3:02PM I'd bet they'll be 2000 points each, exactly the same cost as the Tabard of Frost.

Arena titles have not yet reset with Season 4 (UPDATED) {WoW}

Jun 24th 2008 2:54PM There sure is, and shame on WoWInsider for not knowing this.

Blue post said titles and awards won't be awarded for about a week after the conclusion of the season.

Why? I would assume it's to ensure everything is awarded correctly (unlike last season), and to disqualify any cheaters they may have missed.

PTR Brewfest includes summoned barmaid pets, rams and kodos segregated by faction {WoW}

Jun 24th 2008 2:30PM @Peekaboo:

You misread:

The Hyppogryph is an "alliance" mount (I don't see any Alliance characters able to fly bats, do you?) that is available to the Horde.

The point is the Hyppogryph is considered cross-faction, and is available to the Horde.

His claim was that the Horde only have access to the Tiger and the Ram.

To make it clear:

Cross-Faction Mounts Available to Horde:
Zulian Tiger (0.1% drop)
Brewfest Ram (100% drop)
Spectral Tiger (about a 0.3% drop in packs of cards)
Hyppogryph (100% drop - just need gold)

Cross-Faction Mounts Available to Alliance:

Deathcharger: (0.1% drop)
Hawkstrider: (~1-3% drop)
Halazzi Raptor: (0.1% drop)

Yeah, Blizz sure favors the Alliance.

Jun 24th 2008 2:10PM Nice try, pal.

Your logic is invalid, because you forget the two following Alliance mounts:

1. Cenarion Hyppogryph.
2. Spectral Tiger.

Up the Raptor/Deathcharger to a guaranteed drop after 2 weeks of running it, and you'd be right.

Jun 24th 2008 2:05PM Right, because those BRIGHT RED LETTERS above someone's name isn't enough for you to figure it out?

Jun 24th 2008 2:03PM Well, the Hawkstrider is probably higher than 0.1%... but it's still much lower than a *guaranteed* cross-faction mount.

Jun 24th 2008 2:01PM Alliance:

0.1% drop rate on each of those mounts.

Horde:
100% if you're willing to do the daily Brewfest quests.

Yeah, way to compare similar-looking fruit there.
