If warlocks have 41 talent points at level 40 then they *definitely* need a nerf.
Jun 25th 2007 10:16AM There's not really a quest tied to the Zangarmarsh portal. You kill Xeleth there, but he's not coming through the portal but from the lake next to it.
Jun 25th 2007 9:46AM 'If so, do you think that the locations of the portals could be a clue to what lies behind them? '
No. Any relation between Hellfire Peninsula and the Black Morass? There seems to be no reason to think the local climate or whatever has any relation to anything portally, and we know the naga came through with Illidan, not through some other portal direct from the Maelstrom.
Jun 22nd 2007 9:21AM What I want to know is - are those who incorrectly got a netherdrake going to have it taken away? (I'm hoping they do)
Jun 22nd 2007 6:33AM @12 - shamans are not the only class with a reactive heal. Try a priest's Prayer of Mending - although obviously that doesn't act in the same way as Earth Shield it does respond to damage being taken.
Anyway, more importantly, I'm interested in what you said about Alliance groups not knowing how to utilise a shaman. I could see this being one of two things:
1) The shaman does not know how to play at their best (in which case I can only hope they learn as I sure don't know how they should play at their best)
2) The rest of the group is doing something they shouldn't with the shaman present, or not doing something they should.
If it's 2) could you let us know what sort of mistakes we're making? I don't get to group that often with shamans and it would be genuinely handy to know what to look out for.
On the plural issue - the plural of shaman is shamans. No question. However, Blizzard has a habit of using 'shaman' incorrectly. So it's understandable that in the context of WoW people will use the wrong version. Do note however, that they do not do so consistently. It's not like the game is typo-free anyway (see Nessingwary and co rewarding you with Nesingwary's Safari Stick). You'd be foolish to argue against shamans as a plural in a wider context anyway. Very foolish, as you'd be wrong.
Jun 15th 2007 11:27AM @11: yes. However, the waterfall itself demonstrates the local value of the acceleration due to gravity, and yet the lump of rock seems to be stubbornly ignorant of it.
