Mar 5th 2012 5:37PM You may not be Thrall, but you will not pass me either, undead creature.
"who said I wanted to leave? I promised the ladies another blood bath, now we get to see if you bleed water or ice."
(5 minutes of cursed bullets, pistol barrages and ghouls happily wailing on a hapless Ascendant later...)
"Looks like Ice. "
"Now I know. And knowing is half the battle... Why did I just say that?"
Mar 2nd 2012 1:02PM We are Alliance? Really?!?!
Come on, that's the most pathetic cry I have seen yet. You can't even manage grammar correctly in a battle cry?
Get a real battle cry.
You are an Alliance that was forged by a line of kings like no other. The last of that line stood before Blackrock mountain with his Alliance by when others would have faltered. His best friend killed by a woman they all trusted (herself a tool of demon worshipping goons), a city he knew and lived razed, the enemy in full retreat, he could have called it done.
Instead he attacked and fell. An entire army looked upon the Lion of Azeroth, and they RAGED. The Horde fell.
You want a battlecry? Pick a real one. Pick something, SOMEONE, that means so much to the Alliance that his the thought of letting him down after his final sacrifice was so horrific to the Alliance that they stood as one and massacred their foes.
For the Lion! FOR LOTHAR!!
(Note: I blame this post on Rossi, the badass)
Mar 2nd 2012 11:36AM Did someone mention raising melee hit and tanking in the same sentence? Yea, ignore him.
Tanks, even in the old heroics (I'd say especially in them if they are gear appropriate) don't care about threat thanks to vengeance being stupidly overturned.
DPS heroics is best idea if you are unsure. Tanking gear will show up. Listen to the floating head. He knows.
Mar 2nd 2012 11:22AM Resto shaman aren't the only ones using intellect mail, tyvm. Elemental does too.
Mar 2nd 2012 11:14AM Hit and expertise don't matter to a tankadin much anymore. Reforge them to Mastery if able, then dodge and parry. Block stops a set amount, holy shield ups that. You want to hit 102.4% ctc coverage, then work on lowering mastery and raising avoidance.
Mar 1st 2012 2:59PM Draenor means exiled. It is from the Draenei, the Exiled ones.
Orkish has a "word + osh" equal to "the heart of" + word. So yes. Heart of Death is probably right. Remember, his dad was Grom Hellscream. He's probably got a name that means something horrifying.
Feb 26th 2012 9:04PM While I'd love to see enhancement get something nice. I just don't see it happening.
In an expassion all based around the elements rebelling and healing needed, with Thrall as its centerpiece, shaman got jack all.
Think about that for a second. Druids got 2 new factions. Shaman got an old one revamped. The shaman quartermaster is in the most hated zone of the game. Elemental got access to a legendary only because all DPS casters did. Enhance wasn't allowed access to the legendary even though rogues are one of the least played classes and enhance got middling damage all during the expansion. The best and actually pretty much ONLY weapons for enhance were trash drops with a super low rate on 22 mobs, baleroc, and off madness. Rogues got daggers off of multiple bosses in all three tiers.
Mastery almost not on the last tier, all off-set mail is designed for hunters, and now Monks will be competing for gear. Chances are that enhance will again be sub-par for itemization and recognition.
This makes me sad. Every expansion enhance shaman hope the spec will shine, every expansion it is lucky to be middling good.
Feb 24th 2012 4:08PM Geiss: they've already run out of unique situations when using 2 tanks. So why not change it up? Ultra already kinda has this in 25 man with extra people soaking the debuff. Nef had to have a DPS grab adds unless you brought a 3rd tank.
My biggest problem with this whole thing is that some people seem to not get how hard it is for a guild to keep a 25 man roster. My guild has been unable to get close thanks to the 25 man guilds with their faster legendaries and faster hearing STEALING people from us. We get people geared up, start getting close to either 2 10 mans or being able to PUG the rest on a 25 and 2 or 3 leave because they get promised better loot.
Personally, I think 25 man raids should just go the way of 40 mans. It feels more personal and heroic having a small strike team than a huge mob.
I am pretty sure this is going I get me darkened fast by the 25 man elitists, but it's been how I feel for a while.
Feb 23rd 2012 10:51PM Sam: My BE warrior disagrees. He also went to Hyjal cause Vash is stupid. In Hyjal, no problem. None, zero, zilch. Solo I was destroying things. I simply had to remember I wasn't some god max geared tank like my paladin and I could handle pretty much anything.
Vash didn't allow that? Darn. Guess THAT zone sucked. Which we all knew anyway.
