Sep 3rd 2007 9:45PM LoL! OH no! who honestly has any right to care.
All other classes have been boxed into a cookie cutter spec for pvp. Really? before you go pissing off about frost mages loosing PVE ability, stop shooting down Tanking Paladins, DPSing Warriors, priests, and Shamans and the works of other classes getting shafted because of everyone's steryotypes and in game stigmas.
I know I'm not the only one to say it but come on!
only mages are gonna care like only paladins care when all of a sudden they have to re-roll through 70 lvls because no one thinks they are useful now in the role they want to play.
Making Frost mages less useful is only a part of the game, giving it a look and feel.
So if you are one of the attitude run mages. Let the people play how they wish, yes I've tanked as a 70 pally and a warrior, and I enjoy the pally better because it's not as simple.
if challenge makes you whine, dont play a challenging game or anything multiplayer for that matter.
Aug 30th 2007 10:26AM I dont mind the smaller pauldrons on a dranei, they were way to huge in my opinion, simply because they take up 40% of your character's spot on the screen and never really connect to your dude's shoulders.
Aug 6th 2007 10:14AM well I have 2 ideas
"Good thing we aren't riding dragons, lol, they are magically attracted to all these spikey things."
"And now on our tour via wing through outland you will see a combination of bloodmaul and bladespire ogres, the difference between the two we do not know, and of whome I'm now gaining rep by the thousands just to show you that yes, they are real people."
Jul 27th 2007 7:49PM A damage shield is too close to the paladin's Holy shield, and so really cant be used, because then you would have to buff up and add a new unique skill to paladins.
however, I do agree with the fury spec idea,
because a fury warrior needs something more then dual wielding to make them special.
Jul 19th 2007 11:27AM There has one class or unit that has allways been a highlight of the Warcraft universe, and although it wasn't expected @ first, this unit has become a favorite of many players, some for looks, some for abilities,
it is the
Now I must admit they were my favorite unit on WC3 and when Burning Crusade came out for WoW, I whatched as all of a sudden there were many many oportunities for Demon Hunter style weapons to pop up, but was kinda bummed when the only ones that dropped were not for Paladin, (yes paladin, going for the spellbreaker look)
But since they are rather shady, but nonetheless beloved characters, the Demon Hunter would be easy to place in lore, and easier still with races.
With the current situation:
Races: Night Elf, Blood Elf
Weapons: dual weild warglaives, (which would be able to be used by other classes, but DH (demon hunters) would have talents that boost their damage with them so they get the best boost from them)
perhaps they can use daggers and swords too.
Armor: leather, or maybee cloth, or chain? but it would be based on legs, kilts, and blindfolds. If it is cloth it must be very obviously slanted away from all other cloth users.
New idea for their chest: tattoos
A melee range, dual weilding, temporarily shapshifting, mass debuff class. Boosted damage against demons.
Blade: melee skills and their debuffs
Morph: Demon morph talents, (all metaporphosis are short term to separate from Druids)
Will: magic based debuff
der we go,
now some people will prolly hate on this, and others may grasp it, but I kinda see that Blizzard has been hinting to boost the Demon hunters in WoW in general,
we know people want to be them,
we know they wouldn't be that patchy,
so far there is no debuff melee class,
Warrior: tank and sunder
Paladin: tank and BUFF
(Demon Hunter: DPS and Debuff)
Jun 30th 2007 9:19AM I am a paladin,
the holy warrior aspect of where I don't die is nice in the add filled shadowmoon valley,
and just to the saddened paladins out there who want to tank, but the people they play with say it's impossible,
last night I got into a SteamVaults run, and when a warrior popped in to queue on the LFG system and got auto added, he found himself in a group allready with a tank, so he left,
and what do you know, the hunter and a lock left MY group to get the WARRIOR to tank, how rude right? I was there for 15 mins before, and all of a sudden I get replaced by a warrior?
well they had it coming,
the LFG system put me in their group,
so I was back
there weren't a multitude of people wanting to go to SV, so I was in,
while the warrior tanked alot of the instance, he had a run for his money with the aggro I stole alot,
now the mobs would have prolly killed me the most,
becuase my gear really sucks bad.
when we got to the last boss, and wiped on him, who tanked it?
me! we needed more dps and who other than the prot pally to tank it?
The 2nd attempt was flawless,
we beat it so fast AND I didn't die,
but the loot sucked,
thanks an next time you see a paladin who doesn't want to go Holy,
give him a pat on the back, and say "keep trying"
cause we all know if it weren't for the stigma,
paladins would be tanking big raids and such.
Jun 26th 2007 12:28PM Goals are simple, for the most part,
10. Build unity on my server
9. Have a set of gear that matches perfectly in color and looks.
8. Key all instances
7. Get an Onyx Netherdrake
6. Do all the pre-expansion instances.
5. Become a major role in a guild.
4. level my rogue to 70 (part of #1)
3. (not for you to know)
2. Tank every instance with my Paladin.
1. Dual wield the Warglaives of Azzinoth on my Rogue.
Jun 25th 2007 12:01PM Troll: guys I know you struggle with anger manegement toward colors, but come on, this isn't anything to fight over.
People in background: fool, those are spellbinding mind control tools
Troll: you suck
Jun 24th 2007 11:19PM OMG i effing hate Blizzard,
re-rolling warrior or rogue, why no pally use?
The guards use them, the npc pally's use them, why not us?
I hate blizzard, again
