The Lore of Ulduar {WoW}

Jun 8th 2009 1:35AM I'd expect Sara to be a mind-trick he is using to attempt to lull the heroes closer to himself so he can eat them personally.

The Lore of Ulduar {WoW}

Jun 8th 2009 1:29AM The windows in Vezaxx's room are representative for each old God.

4 of the windows are intact, showing the living Old Gods: Yogg-Saron, and two as yet Un-named Gods still sealed away in the Maelstrom (presumably controlling the Murlocs (referred to as "Deepest Lord" by Brann Bronzebeard, and the other God manipulating the Naga via Azshara). The female figure with the cloak, as far as I can figure, is either Sara, or a third Old God not known of yet. I dont think its Azshara herself, as she is not an Old God, despite the lore saying she is probably equal in power to Arthas now.

The two broken windows are C'thun and the Master's Glaive corpse.

An interview with a scammer {WoW}

Jun 6th 2009 3:37PM I don't use out-of-game info at all. My sales are done entirely through whispers and Party Chat. I meet the buyer in BB, I do half-before/after on payment, I take screenshots and keep records of all my sales.

Any seller, who does his business through e-mails, is most likely a scammer. I've been selling these codes since the first round of items form TCG were released, and e-mail, extra websites, whatever, is totally unnecessary. I feel empathy for people who get scammed, but at some point they need to stop and ask themselves "Wait, why would I need to go to a website, or open an e-mail, to do something in-game?"

Any legitimate vendor would do all of the code redemption himself, and then provide a buyer with a server-registered redemption code. Easier and more streamlined for the buyer to manage.

I just get so sick of it. Every time a scammer gets some press, we vendors need to fight off another wave of angry, insulting whispers and flaming in /2. I wont even get into the sh*t we deal with on server forums when some artard thinks they have 'found a scammer on the server.' and rushed off to tell /everyone/.

An interview with a scammer {WoW}

Jun 6th 2009 3:12PM To note:

I do not sell, nor do i condone, selling gold. I keep all my profits in-game and do not associate with asshats like the one featured.

An interview with a scammer {WoW}

Jun 6th 2009 3:07PM Well, thanks for completely destroying the legitimacy of those of us who sell these TCG items in-game. Could you have at least made some mention that some of us are legitimate sellers, offering a real product for in-game gold?

I've already had potential buyers mention the previous article, and its hard enough to get people to trust anyone in this game before that. I've made a nice little fortune off of selling tabards and some of the less-rare items in-game, but sales have been getting steadily scarcer as people bounce up and down screaming "lol scammer" and sh*t.

At least do a follow up with some of us who do this legally, legitimately and ethically? Well, I guess i can say thanks for ruining my future sales once this article gets passed aorund. %$@#.

Well, i guess its back to fighting off the retards in /2. Only now they can claim 'evidence' of my 'scamming' and make life even harder.

BlizzCon tickets: how it went, and what's next {WoW}

May 18th 2009 5:04PM I haven't missed a Blizzcon yet, but this year because of the stupid Queue system, I have to scalp my tickets off of E-bay.

Breakfast Topic: For the children! {WoW}

May 1st 2009 8:07AM All but Hail and the dailies quest done.

I play a warlock, and despite it hard Knocks was a cinch.

Chinese release of Wrath of the Lich King still delayed {WoW}

Mar 11th 2009 2:22PM Don't forget that Storm Peaks features the Frost-Dwarves, who are fighting for their lives against the oppressive Iron Dwarves! A secluded ethnic group living in desperate fear of genocide in a mountaintop hideaway? Something smells familiar!

And Horde get to have female blood elf followers in children week, and everyone knows having a female baby is illegal in China.
