Why we need difficult raid encounters {WoW}
Jan 22nd 2012 9:37PM This is what made me a raider back in the day. Raiding itself is kinda fun sometimes, and it sucks at other times. But looking back on it, I liked the feeling of having accomplished a difficult raid.
With easy mode raids, I don't get any sense of accomplishment. Regardless if the actual moment of joy in raiding might be a little bit higher in these nofail ez mode raids (its always more fun to be winning than to lose to a boss over and over) - There is no accomplishment to look back fondly on, so whats the point?

Dec 28th 2011 9:11PM As a combat rogue my guild current guild started sitting me out of raids early in January because I couldn't keep up with DPS and they were pushing to break into being a top 10 US guild. I pretty much retired from wow raiding after that (having raided since Molten Core in early 2005). I would say 2011 was a pretty shitty year overall for this rogue =p
