Breakfast Topic: Does your guild membership depend on guild perks? {WoW}

Dec 20th 2010 8:43AM My guild is level 5, which is great, but I wouldn't leave for another guild that was a higher level because I enjoy playing with the people in the guild.

However, I do worry about newly formed guilds in the future, I think it will become very difficult for new guilds to attract members as most people when looking for a guild will look at the guild level I think.

I can't decide whether guild levels are a good thing becaues of that, I'm very happy with my current guild and don't ever envisage leaving, but if I decided to roll an alliance toon (quite likely I will at least try a worgen at some point) then if I'm honest the first thing I will look at will be guild levels, as it is the only thing you can possibly know about a guild before joining.

At this point I think the only way I would join a newly formed guild would be if I knew some of the people in the guild and enjoyed playing with them, but that is often not the case for me when joining a new guild, particularly when starting from scratch.

Breakfast Topic: Has flight ruined the adventure? {WoW}

Dec 18th 2010 9:42AM I actually think that the way quests are handled has ruined the adventure more than flying. I can't speak for the 1-60 experience, so if that is different then fair enough, but 80-85 questing does not allow for much replayability, for the most part you only have 3 quests active and can only progress to further quests by completing those 3. Other than choosing Hyjal or Vashj'ir there is very little choice over which quests to do when levelling, I'm not looking forward to having the exact same experience with every toon I level from 80-85 now.

The Queue: What do you mean there's an octopus on my face? {WoW}

Dec 17th 2010 2:04PM I'm a hordie but even I wouldn't mind Lordaeron back with the humans. Just doesn't seem right that the undead control it.

Breakfast Topic: All I want for Winter Veil ... {WoW}

Dec 15th 2010 11:47AM What level do you have to be to get the meta achieve? Was hoping to get it on all my 80s as haven't got them all to 85 yet.

Live Stream: Archaeology 101 {WoW}

Dec 13th 2010 4:56PM You are probably right, but like hillarie.furman I tend to start solving at 95.

Definately don't solve any before then though, will save you a lot of time.
