Oct 16th 2010 11:52PM So........there was talk of crafting a blue item gets you more than one skill point. Is that still going to happen in Cata?

Aug 27th 2008 8:19AM Have a buddy with 5 shammies, he gets reported daily. Somebody did it again last night while he was helping me in Nagrand (jumpatron in 2, woot - on a rogue).

I sent a tell to the guy saying Kaplan said it was OK, blizzard said it was OK....what do I get back? 'Whatever cheater' and ignored.

Guess some people don't like the idea of within the rules.

Forum post of the day: Using the Auction House properly {WoW}

Jul 12th 2008 8:03AM This is one of the things of a free economy, people can undercut you. You spent a bunch of gold....so did they, or they dropped a bunch of time in on the items on another toon and are recouping the cost.

This post seems one of arrogance. How can they set the price and say no one goes below that or it is unfair? A group raids kara on farm, they end up sharding everything. As the shards are gotten quick and easy, and they are just geting a repair fund, they sell the mats 'cheap', or cheaper than a group that took 4 hours to get to and down Curator. As it took longer for the 2nd group to get their shard, is it worth more than the famr group? Nope. The value of anything is what people are willing to pay for it.

I have 2 70's (alchemy/herbalism & leatherworking/skinner), and an enchanting/miner close to 60. Simple logic, if people are smashing the AH, don't put your stuff in. If they do it after you, tough luck.

If you are short on bag space, create an alt, get it a guild charter, have friends create toons to sign it, and buy a guild bank. 98 bag slots for about 110 gold...cheapest bag in the game (just remember to boot everyone from your guild as they can clean you out). Wait til they sell off, then put the stuff back in.

Questioning the fate of 25 mans in Wrath {WoW}

May 9th 2008 4:56PM I love Kara. We can get in, progress, and go on with our lives. I love to see content, play the content, and do things. I have a full time job, things to do on the weekends, just flat real life stuff. Not that a full time raider doesn't, but I would like to play the game as well, the full game.

The 10 mans are not going to be cake walk, they are going to be challenging encounters with nice rewards (one full tier below the 25 mans who get very nice rewards).

While the writer has a nice point, it should be an epic battle.....who says 10 mans aren't? If the group you can get is 10 skilled people who like to raid twice a week, let us have content, let us play the full game. Is a 25 player raid getting nicer loot? yup, and good for them. Go on about your 25 man and be proud. I'll take my 10 man enconter any day of the week and be happy with it. I get to see the end of the game, things wrap up, closure.

Saying there should not be 10 mans because there are not enough people is like saying you can not watch revenge of the sith or return of the king because you are watching with just 9 friends.

There are plenty of people who like raiding in the 25, and will keep doing it happily. This just lets a big percentage see the end. That has not happened in the previous iterations, and now that we have a shot at it, let us go in peace, we will extend you the same courtesy, and even compliment you on the nice shiny stuff you got.

Blue poster Belfaire explains Blizzard's stance on multiboxing {WoW}

Mar 13th 2008 9:19AM OK, guilty of multiboxing. Not using any bots, just 2 sessions on the machine. I have a 70 that can smoke instances through LBRS on solo, I am raising a pally. They take forever, I like the end game stuff, but this is my third time through STV.....and jeez.

If I am on follow, going through the motions at a higher rate of speed, where is the problem? If I see another lowbie going for the same 'big' guy, or I am clearing a village for that quest item and they come along, I invite so they have a shot as well. This is no different than LFG....just using my accounts.
