Breakfast Topic: What should Nihilum do now? {WoW}
Jun 10th 2007 11:46AM @24: I don't know that I'd say people hate raiders necessarily, but even those who are interested in reading about the top-end raid game (myself included) have got to be getting sick of hearing about Nihilum.
On one level, sure, it's impressive that they've figured out these encounters this quickly. However, as someone earlier in the comments said, I can't imagine that many of these people have normal lives outside of WoW (by "normal" I mean full-time jobs, active social lives that don't involve WoW, and non-neglected significant others).
As much as I love this game, one aspect I hate is how so many people over-play it to the detriment of their real lives. Of course, this isn't Blizzard's fault and it shouldn't be their job to police it (through mandatory time limitations or something similar). I kind of feel like they're trying to do something about this issue with the implementation of daily quests, but unfortunately it seems as if many in the community only see this as a roadblock set up just to "slow them down".
