Jan 29th 2009 2:41PM Feats of Strengths are for items that are almost, in not, impossible for players to do currently in game. Those once in a game play chance. The Four Dragons are no where near this type of achievement. For one, they still appear in the various location, so if you can get a raid together, are still downable regularly.
Jan 28th 2009 6:06PM Are you able to cross Tirisfal Glade to the main gates of UC, since the Elder is not located inside the main area of UC and the elevator to the surface is essential broken. (not that I think they would put them there anyway)
Jan 28th 2009 5:56PM Especially for the wetlands run for the alliance IF/MH flight path. Not as important now that the boats have changed, but still was a how I got many of my alts this path.
Jan 28th 2009 5:43PM And get bugged by lowbies to help them run through low level instances and begging for a piece of you vast fortune you earn from the new areas. ;-P
Jan 22nd 2009 3:29PM My only addition to this is go to Northrend at 68, but if you are a squishey and have problems AoEing go to Borean Tundra. The spawn rate of the mobs just on the other side of the gate there was crazy for my lock, but my rogue was in heaven.
Jan 12th 2009 12:09PM My Rogue has always been my main. He is just about 3 bars shy of 80. My 'lock just got to 70 and I was able to convince 4 guildies to do Dire Maul to get her Dreadsteed (got screwed when Blizz announced the training option a few days after I bought all the components for the quest. Needless to say she needed to do DM if she was going to get back on track for her flying mount). My DK is 61 and for the life of me gets sidetracked by herb nodes (kind of like channel surfing and stopping for a second and realizing you have been watching for 10-15 minutes) while I am trying to get quests done.
Jan 5th 2009 1:50PM It was a toss up for me over Ironforge and Stormwind. Ironforge was central to the world because Menethil Harbor (except for the run to get the flight point) was just over the mountain to the two Alliance boats for North and South Kalimdor. And it was centrally located for the Eastern Kingdoms. But now that the ships have changed and Stormwind has a harbor now, I am more prone to staying at the Human city.
I also find I don't change my Hearth too often, which leads to some inconvenient traveling. My gnome alt was in an instance in Northrend and we finished and I was tired, so I hit the hearthstone and ended up in Netherstorm, QQ.
Jan 2nd 2009 2:40PM That would fit in with Blizz's announcement at Blizzcon 2008 of in a future patch that mounts will no longer despawn in deep water. So you can ride your mount into the depths and not worry about having it go away.
Jan 2nd 2009 1:31PM Yada, I hate to differ with you, but Hodir wouldn't be Odin. Hodr in Norse Mythology is the blind Aesir that Loki tricks into killing Balder with a mistletoe arrow. So bringing this into WoW, it could mean that there was another entity that Loken tricked Hodir into killing by mistake on Loken word (possibly Sif). Which in turn would have angered the Watcher of Storm enough to kill Hodir and bring on the war with the Sons. It isn't until latter that Thorim realizes that he was taken in by Loken's machinations to keep him busy.
Dec 30th 2008 3:15PM I know what you mean about the second set of DK gear. I loved it so much I had to make a Figure Print of my DK when I got chosen in the drawing. My only problem was the Helm, I love the Helm but it covers the face almost totally and the eyes are cool.
