Nov 12th 2008 8:41AM For some reason, when I thought of all the people I knew who jumped at the chance of literally free gear, I figured those to be the sort of people who used to use codes in console games to get their rewards without earning them.
Sep 3rd 2008 11:48PM Why not just use attunement? 10 man Naxx and 25 man Naxx are open to all, but you cannot proceed without killing the end boss of the raid in 10 or 25 man versions.
Leaves Blizz free to do gear as they please because people who've done the end level 10 man stuff can't skip ahead in 25 man stuff, and vice versa.
Jun 24th 2008 2:37AM Why do you even want PvP gear if you aren't going to enjoy your BGs? =/
Jun 22nd 2008 9:40PM Given that raiders were wearing tier 3 into Karazhan, I'd imagine tier 6 will last until level 80. The other thing, of course, is that the current level of gear compared to what was available at level 60 is light years ahead. Even your alts will be wearing epics into Northrend, as opposed to blues from UBRS.
Jun 21st 2008 7:13AM It was Fool's Bane...but as that's inside Kara is really has no place here.
Jun 21st 2008 7:09AM You didn't mention the offhand badge fist weapon. For only 45 badges it is an amazing weapon. I could be wrong, so don't quote me, but I think the two fist weapons were worked out to be behind S3/Warglaives for DPS, and now the Sunwell fists...for casual players who hit Karazhan once a week and don't do arena, there really is no other option(unless you fork out for the third tier Blacksmith weapons).
Decent guide anyway, for a reference to weapons it's certainly a good collection. I used the Dragonmaw and the Aldor sword until Dragonstrike/...I can't remember what I had before I got Fury from Nalorakk >_<
Anyway, even though I'm well past Karazhan, I still enjoy reading this stuff, and I think generally you do a great job Matthew, and keep it up!

This is my build atm. I took 3/5 Flurry over Blood Craze because even with just under 12,000 health unbuffed, thats still not quite 400 health returned. I think Flurry is the better choice, but that is open to discussion.
Just curious, you keep talking about hanging on to so much rage, what do you want to hang onto it for? I rarely have rage to spare when I'm spamming MS and hamstring, so stance dancing isn't an issue, I don't have rage to lose. If you have some rage when OP comes up, blow a whirlwind and then jump over, you won't miss the OP timer unless you're slow. There are even times Berserker stance isn't worth it, I won't bother leaving Battle stance if I'm targetting a rogue.
Jun 16th 2008 10:56AM The way I run with groups, and as the tank I'm marking/leading 99% of the time, is I say right off the bat: Main spec rolls get priority. I don't have a problem with a fury warrior winning a roll and passing it to his ret pally friend instead. No worries. But if you're a prot warrior thinking the same thing, you can get out of my group =]
In this situation, it would simply have come down to 'grats fury warrior' if I had been tanking.
Jun 3rd 2008 10:18AM I dropped 375 mining, picked up enchanting, paid my way to 375, enchanted my DPS and tank rings and then dropped enchanting to get mining again. I didn't think of it as a waste at the time, because I assumed I'd never replace them. One of those rings has been replaced now, as I recently got my Band of Eternity.
