Dec 5th 2007 3:11PM For Winter's Veil I want a...casual raiding guild =/
Dec 5th 2007 12:38PM I think the example works wonderfully, as does your comment. The idea of the post is that it's hard to escape that class-centrisim that makes the rare useful death coil appreciated rather than hated.
As a tanking warrior myself I can say, almost anytime a warlock, warrior, priest, etc. fears a mob I've "got under control" it frusturates me. Having played a boomkin though, I can see the other side of the coin, as sometimes I find myself cycloning a mob running to the healer and saving the day. If I were playing my tank I would've been twitching with rage.
Oct 18th 2007 12:55PM Then again, what about us people who have been playing since release, but for one reason or another have started up a second account and play mainly on that. I think that generally giving out rewards that are impossible for a significant amount of the player base to obtain is alienating and frustrating, especially when said rewards aren't available right from the start like the CE pets.
Aug 30th 2007 3:05AM The key to remember when leveling a new character is to go at your own pace. There's nothing worse than steamrolling 1-35 only to die at the 35-45 hump and stop leveling for a few months.
Also, while leveling and especially while using Jame's guide, don't be afraid to do elite quests such as the Stromgarde series. If you can find a group it's a great way to fill in the blanks and avoid some of the more tedious grinding sessions he suggests. Another great quest area is Smuggler's Cove in southern Arathi. Take a cave on the left side of Stromgarde Keep to discover some pirates and a series of level 40ish quests that will give you something to do.
Jul 25th 2007 11:40PM i'll take a shot at it, why not.
Jul 3rd 2007 1:41PM Boy this'd blow the guys at the local game store away.
Jun 13th 2007 12:42PM MT: Somebody give me kings! I need kings before the pull!
Druid: Paladins haven't been invented yet.
Jun 12th 2007 12:08AM I was always a fan of the Trey Lightforge / Shadow Hold questline in Felwood. It was rather short, but I loved the development of the relationship between Trey and Jessir Moonbrow, the captured night elf whose rescue starts the chain. When you leave Shadow Hold and the ghost of Trey shows up it's classic.
Here's the quest that starts the chain for those interested : http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=5203
