Safari Extension highlight: Stop animated GIFs, make your own CSS {TUAW.com}

Oct 18th 2010 9:05PM Hi guys,

Just thought I'd chime in and say that I'm running a Safari Extension
community site called SafariExtendr that might be relevant to your
interests.
I'm trying to grow it and would love your help or feedback.

The site is at http://safariextendr.com

I've added the two extensions above to the site. If there's any big
ones I'm missing don't hesitate to tell me.

Cheers

TwentyFifthNovember becomes Ensidia {WoW}

Nov 25th 2008 9:38AM I love how the wowinsider community is always so desperate to show how little they care about nihilum/ensidia related stories, ironically resulting in some of the most commented on posts of all the site.

Nihilum does it again, downs Twin Eredars {WoW}

Apr 10th 2008 6:47PM @Gordon W

Clearly an ignorant troll but I'll bite. Have you even seen irl photos of them? They look physically healthier than the better part of America.

As for trivializing their achievement and the time spent doing it - "Anyone who plays more than me has no life. Anyone who plays less than me is a noob." How does it feel to be a cliché I wonder?

Then again I would have been disappointed if there wasn't a mindless anti-Nihilum flame.

Forum Post of the Day: Scaling warlock pets {WoW}

Nov 1st 2007 6:52AM The problem with this topic is that the warlock community skirts a very fine line between QQers and legitimate buffs/bug fixes. The fixes that are being asked for are not huge nor in anyway gamebreaking. Any high level arena lock will testify to their pet being the first target and in such a situation, the gear they have accumulated to make themselves less squishy (and the associated resilience) has no damage mitigation effect on their pet. Is this fair?

Forum Post of the Day: Scaling warlock pets {WoW}

Nov 1st 2007 6:41AM Warlock pets need to scale with resilience and hit. For high-end raiders and pvpers the oversight here is ridiculous - for PvE players, resists on seduces happen all too often in heroics and and beyond, and for PvPers all that resilience means shit all for your pet when he's three shot by a warrior. Not to mention losing a pet significantly damages a demo lock's ability to function.

Some additional viability for demo felguard raiding would be nice - as mentioned above, avoidance as with hunter pets.

For most other purposes they scale fine. Most people in this thread are missing the point - hit and res is where its needed most. Oh and to anyone who is crying about this and warlocks in general - you are a vocal minority and getting very tiresome.

Brooms going bye-bye {WoW}

Oct 25th 2007 12:46AM I think the reluctance to give up brooms indicates a pretty large niche for a new small mount. My broom is such a welcome change from the behemoth screen real estate eater that is my netherdrake. The ground mount is also way more fun to ride around on than any of my other mounts and I'm convinced it isn't just the novelty factor. Reimplement brooms but with a more WoW-appropriate model imo, you've hit upon something good here Blizz.

A summary of shaman super skills {WoW}

May 5th 2007 8:19PM "Seriously. I think rogues should be able to heal, too! Mages should get intercept and warlocks should definately have TWO pets!"

I think it sounds quite reasonable. Maybe requiring an/a couple of expensive reagent(s) or a rare book drop from an instance to make the difficulty of getting it commensurate to the power and utility it brings to raids. Perhaps a nerf to 20% when used in a raid, anythings possible. No need to be such an asshole about it.

"That right there is plagiarizing from the wow forums months ago, I'm not looking up the thread."

Well feel free to have the wider reading audience not believe you. No link, no credibility.

As for the rest of your comments... some extremely minor factual errors were made that didn't really undermine the purpose of the article - to educate shaman noobs such as myself. Seems this has brought out all the angsty anal retentives from the shaman forums, go troll the warlock forums or something.

Good article, I enjoyed it.

No 2.1 this week either {WoW}

May 1st 2007 6:23AM Is it just me or was there a post about the FSW/Spellfire nerfs above this that has since gone kaput?

Blue Notes: Profession tidbits and new Darkmoon cards {WoW}

Apr 12th 2007 10:27PM The Robe change is really lame and the result of Blizz actually listening to the outraged minority on the forums. Most casters I know like the tunic option.
