Breakfast Topic: Buying and selling {WoW}

Sep 21st 2007 8:14AM Sell, rinse & repeat

If you're in that positoin, there's nothing more to achieve in the game imo. So I say sell and enjoy a well earnt holiday ^^

On the other hand tho, with the crappy Dollar nowadays, what could one actually buy for $ 10.000? LOL! Glad I'm living in Europe :P

Ciao

Breakfast Topic: Just a little fun {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2007 9:01AM The story above made me simle :)

A while ago I was trying to get a PUG together for some instance. We were almost complete, but lacking a healer. Eventually, after numerous tells in the LFG-channel, I got fed up with it and posted this message:

[4-LookingForGroup][Phehon]: OUCH! I'm hit! I need a healer (for )... Quick! Whisper me! Before it's too late... Oath of Hyppocrates calling... Uch...

got quite a few happy reactions to it, and even found a healer pretty quick after that ^^

Guildwatch: An honest mistake {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2007 2:47AM Yeh,
got a WoW crash this weekend during the fight on the last boss in Mech.. Then *my* Shoulderpads of Assassination dropped.. Cause of the crash, I was either removed from the loot table and couldn't roll on it OR timed out on my roll.. So they went to a pally mate of mine.. Files a GM ticket and then accidentally filed another one..
Spoke to the GM for quite a while, but he couldn't help me.. Turned into quite a discussion, but there was absolutely nothing that could be done :(
Went offline for a bit and when I came back I found an ingame email from Blizz in my inbox: telling me to file a new ticket with specific info from the event and telling me to file it together with the recipient.. Did that, and about45 minutes later received another Blizz mail *with* my shoulders!
So consistnecy would be really nice, on the other hand: if you don't get your way, just file a new ticket ^^
Ps. Pureheart: thanks again for your help and being so honest!!

BBC: WoW behavior can predict epidemic patterns {WoW}

"What do you think about this study? And, taking a broader view, does people's behavior in WoW accurately reflect their behavior in real life?"

I think it point made in the article is correct, people will take more risk ingame, simply cuz you cant *really* die.

That being said: I think peoples character does reflect in their play style and manners.. Rude people will still be rude, tw*ts will still be tw*ts.. PUG-ing is a great example of that.. I think peoples character is even extrapolated into their WoW toon.. Cause of the anonimity, helpfull people will be more selfless and stupid people will be worse than they actually are..

ps. DONT JUST OPEN A TRADE WINDOW FOR YOUR LOCKBOXES!!!! ASK FIRST
pps. sorry for the yelling ^^

Are instance drops really random? {WoW}

Aug 21st 2007 5:46AM This is drop related:
a guild of mine has the tendency to win EVERY roll on a purple and most blue items that drop for the group she is in..

It's so bad we joking about it now:
1. Refusing to group with her (not really, just ot tick her off)
2. Telling her she should remove that rolling mod
3. Saying she can pass on the item, even then she'll win it
4. Telling her to check her mailbox, cause a purple dropped in the group she isnt in, but she still prolly won the roll, even tho she wasnt there

It really does surprise me how someone can have so much luck (her) or so little of it (the rest of the world).. I blame Blizzard for it, I know there no reason, but I just do :P
Buh-Bye
