Nov 11th 2010 2:24PM Downranked for trying to be helpful to other auctioneers -- such a wonderful community to be a part of.
Nov 11th 2010 1:13PM However -- I did learn a very valuable AH lesson (albiet it a pricey one). If you ever see a rare item fall below what you usually see them for at auction -- search the forums to make sure Blizzard hasn't changed it's mind again this week before you buy. I'm the new proud owner of 3 baby raptors because I saw them for 3k -- which was a steal compared to their regular price on my server. Little did I know people were merely unloading their stock.

Nov 11th 2010 1:04PM Not related to your post per se Basil -- but I'm sure will have an impact on some of your auction house introspection -- I was blind sided a bit by this earlier today and thought your fans would like to be kept aware. Cheers mate!

Oct 22nd 2008 3:52PM I'm working on a conspiracy theory as to why this was added as a hotfix - and it's not from all the crying about drop rates. Ever since the inclusion of achievements - Blizzard has seen an increase in instance usage. (i.e. People soloing old world dungeons for achievements, etc.)
I assume that there is a finite number of instances a server can handle - and with the majority of people making their way back into the game after the 3.0 patch - this was a neccesary evil to control the number of instances created. It's simple - give people the pet with less effort - they'll stop creating instances for the HH encounter.
It's a lame-brain theory - but I am sticking to it. I don't know the amount of instances a server can host - but I'd be willing to bet that ever since patch 3.0 and Hallow's End - many servers are nipping at that ceiling. : )
Oct 14th 2008 8:38PM Am I the only one that remembers that BC actually went off with very little problems? If anything - since this patch represents much of what will be going into Wrath - it is just that much less than can go wrong in November. In fact, very few patches have been any problem over the past few years as far as game breaking issues. Don't worry - you'll be free-basing it soon enough.
Sep 18th 2008 2:47PM In other words - the only collector's edition of this game that exists is the one from the original World of Warcraft (before they knew it was a cash cow and they actually made a limited number).
Sep 18th 2008 2:44PM Please don't let this sway you either way - I promise you will likely be able to still get a pre-order in (or pick up a CE that day). They had the same song and dance surrounding the BC CE and they were stacked knee high at my local GameStop (So much so - that I bought a few extra copies thinking they would be hard to find).
Do a search on eBay for BC CE's and you'll find they are worth, and new at that, less than $30. Does that sound like a collector's item to you. Please don't buy the hype - if you truly want a CE - you'll get one easily. They've made plenty of those stupid boxes to serve everyone two fold.
