Jan 16th 2010 10:24PM Here's a mistake: forgetting that Mirror Image is another threat panic button, after using a picture of it as a header.

Arcane Brilliance: Professions for Mages, part 1 {WoW}

Apr 4th 2009 8:01PM As others mention above, I'm surprised you didn't mention the change to Lightweave Embroidery next patch. It's becoming a 250 spellpower buff for 15 seconds on a 45 second cooldown, which will make Tailoring give the biggest DPS increase for mages, bar none.

Arcane Brilliance: A pre-Wrath Mage primer part 2 {WoW}

Nov 9th 2008 5:30AM It's kind of weird at the moment. While raid bosses are typically immune to movement slowing effects, they can still be affected by spells like Slow or Thunderclap, thus giving the Torment the Weak bonus. However, it's rather inconsistant which bosses can be affected and which can't (I've heard varying tales of certain bosses in level 80 Naxxramas being immune to slow while others aren't.)

Nov 9th 2008 5:27AM Flame Throwing is taken for the increased range on Pyroblast, which has a default range of 35 yards. Frostfirebolt has a range of 40 yards, but with the Hot Streak procs you'd have to move in closer to cast a Pyroblast unless you took Flame Throwing.

Scattered Shots: Wrath of the Hunter {WoW}

Nov 7th 2008 5:52AM It's 30s per stack of 200 (before reputation discounts.) Note that you can only purchase this new ammunition in Northrend zones, so you probably won't have much of a discount available for a while.
