BlizzCon 2011: Pandaren will be playable by both the Horde and Alliance {WoW}

Oct 21st 2011 3:13PM at last ! the pandarens !

I'm glad.

Now, they can add High-elves to alliance.

Know Your Lore: The 7th Legion {WoW}

Sep 14th 2011 4:49PM "To be honest, the 7th Legion does not feel quite that elite when they're being murdered by the Horde as part of their low level experience.

I can do a slaughter of Kor'kron with my lv 85 mage...

the game mechanics is too often against lore. Also players want to be "powerful and epic", so blizzard is forced to make us "heroes"

but for me, some magic is lost in the process.

I'm impressed by that article : I often think the Horde has better lore or more heart but often it's simply because Blizzard seems to write more easily for the horde. But you, you made justice for the Alliance.

It was well written, interesting and now I would salute 7th legion PNJ, because they are true heroes.

Dev Watercooler: Ghostcrawler discusses massive changes to threat {WoW}

Aug 16th 2011 1:26PM just an other consequences of the "dungeon finder"

ho I'm sure the dungeon finder allowed a lot of more people to play the game, I think it's great, but in the same time, I'm feeling more and more the dungeon finder is the one feature (not arena) which forces Blizzard to break world of warcraft.

it's just to hard to balance any people with any (mostly) random people and make them have fun, it's just too hard, if they succeeded they would have a nobel prize or whatever.

so they "break" (Maybe I'm too harsh) the game.

no, I'm not a "hateful player", I like the game, I play it, it's always a fun game and I'm convinced blizzard is full of people loving making game and playing them. It's just I'm feeling we (blizzard, the players, everyone) are trapped and forced to break the mechanics of wow because of a too good feature : the dungeon finder.

my impossible dream would be "threat" was something visible in the world game : the monsters, all monsters, have incredible animations, where you see it's looking at you and readying to change aggro to badly hurt _you_ and now it's time to stop dpsing : no need for an "ugly interface", just cool animation. Maybe it's impossible.

maybe an idea would be the threat would decay very fast , if the tanks for whatever reason stop to generate threats, it drops so fast than mage, hunter and so on have to use their control/remove threat abilities .

Breakfast Topic: Are pretty pixels important to you? {WoW}

Jun 12th 2011 8:42AM yes, customisation and diversity is important.

sub-races, custom gear, new cloth, hairs and all are important to stay interested by the game.

The Queue: Panda ... nope, not going to do it {WoW}

Jun 6th 2011 11:26AM would love to play : murloc, dryade, arrakoa.

but one thing I would truly love would be new variations of actual races, for example :

Mok'Nathal orcs.
broken draenei
wild hammer dwarf

sand gnome (with a cool cloth, skins and whatever, replacing the ones in outland, maybe like starwars jawa :) )

high elven (not blood elves one, with different eyes, features).

and so on. You have variations, lore fitting to be played, for all races.

they could be allied with the traditional orcs/trolls/gnome/... for whatever reason and be an update to the models and give new choices without dropping all new lore on players, extending lore already in place.

Breakfast Topic: How do you prefer to access "hard modes"? {WoW}

Jun 2nd 2011 9:48AM I prefer the ulduar way.

and yes, ulduar was a great raid. better than icc.

The Lawbringer: No, you can't sue Blizzard over the Dance Studio {WoW}

May 28th 2011 7:16AM @thawedtheorc said...

Yes. And no I will not change my mind.

Wow need more than new instances.

The Lawbringer: No, you can't sue Blizzard over the Dance Studio {WoW}

May 28th 2011 6:08AM John,

I totally disagree.

You invent just excuse. For me blizzard is wasting time in crazy raids and not in fun features.

And YES the dance studio WAS announced officially. It's not like I wanted THAT absolutely, I just disagree with the whole attitude.

By the way I think wow need more than high level raid with epic stuff or just quests.

Features are CONTENT.

You know what ? I prefer archeology and stories with the objects we found than an other instance.

The Lawbringer: No, you can't sue Blizzard over the Dance Studio {WoW}

May 27th 2011 3:36PM All I know it's I really wanted it
in fact I want anything which allow to customize the character and is NOT just some raid stuff and weird numbers in an ugly sheet !

So yeah, I really hopped a way to customize and combine some animation of the character.

I don't appreciate how blizzard think it's funny to not deliver what they promised in an official trailer.

It's a lot of worse than path of the titans.

Apple releases iOS 4.3.3 WebKit source, but stretches the spirit of the LGPL {}

May 9th 2011 9:41PM It's the hypocrisy of google, talking a lot about openess which drive newspaper and geeks to criticize google.

For Apple, believe me, their attitude is noted, there are people with their own copyright in the webkit project. Apple can't sit upon it
