Sep 14th 2009 8:28PM @Fun DMC: I haven't done anything particularly special. I'm playing on Shura difficulty, and I just visit every screen at least once (even the ones off the main path because they sometimes have houses or baskets w/ hidden items), and I never use smoke bombs to run from combat (though I do occasionally run through the rooms that don't force you to stop and fight the enemies inside). For Kisuke, I discovered how to use bronze mirrors better to cut down on backtracking. I finished at level 72 with Momohime and 63 with Kisuke using my above method. Additionally, even if you beat it very quickly, the first time through, you need to be approx level 90 (I'm told) to wield the final sword for the 3rd set of endings.
Sep 14th 2009 7:39PM It took me 13 hours to beat Momohime's story, and 10 hours to beat Kisuke's following that. Now, each of the other characters' bosses are open for each other to defeat, and I need to use the final swords of both characters on the final bosses to unlock a new boss and their next endings. Following that, I need to craft the final sword and fight the final boss again to view the 3rd and final ending.
That's going to take me at least 7 more hours to go through. 30 hours out of an action game. How much content do you need there to be to justify a purchase?
Dec 3rd 2008 2:42PM Is it possible to complete the various WotLK dungeon quests in Heroic mode? In BC, it wasn't and it ended up being very obnoxious to run through H Shadow Labs only to find that the Lexicon Demonica doesn't drop in that setting. :-/
Dec 2nd 2008 2:15AM Can the various dungeon quests be done on Heroic mode at level 80 or do they have to be done on Normal?
Aug 28th 2008 8:18PM Wow, must have this crimson tabard of glory!
Nov 7th 2007 6:18PM @ #2, what you mean like mages with the mage tax? (finally repealed, yay!)
Sep 6th 2007 2:24AM That video is retarded. Stop spreading it around.
Jun 21st 2007 4:34PM Re: Alexandra in Eternal Darkness --
She's not the only one who gets tired in that game. ALL of the characters do, whether from running or swinging weapons. Some characters just have more stamina than others. Alex is definitely on the low end, but her fatty of a great-great-great-great? grandfather Maximillion had the lowest stamina of any character in that game.
Jun 19th 2007 8:10PM I'd be willing to wager the reason that they're not doing cross platform is because they'd be forced to integrate the game into MS's Games for Window's Live service. Now that's a hassle...
