Blizzard cracks down on Arena pet naming exploit {WoW}

Jan 1st 2008 5:45PM Clever use of game mechanics ends where Blizzard says it does, since it is their rules you have to follow - if they don't like the way a mechanic is used, it will be changed only in a matter of time.

Breakfast Topic: Why don't you use the Test server? {WoW}

Nov 24th 2007 10:51AM There is enough to do on a PTR without spoiling your further gameplay. Especially 2.3.2 made me go ROAR and download the PTR patch, just to try out different mage specs utilizing the new 11-point talent Icy Veins.

It's just too powerful for a talent that high in the tree, although it'd be a nice buff to mage DPS - be they specced frost or fire.

I even tried out a variation of the cookie-cutter-spec 10/48/3, 2/48/11:

It may be more mana intensive, but properly utilized Icy Veins is a huge buff to mage DPS.

Nerf incoming?

Things to know about Patch 2.2 {WoW}

Sep 26th 2007 7:07AM Do NOT, I repeat, NOT try the Shartuul event in Blade's Edge Mountains, it's bugged atm; You are not able to heal yourself using the Assassin's Death Blast while Siphon Life is active - the bug is labled as "already known", both in US and EU, so don't waste your Darkrune like I wasted mine 2 hours ago.

Breakfast Topic: Thank the Light it's a Paladin! {WoW}

Jun 30th 2007 8:14AM You just got to love Paladins when they saved your life about the tenth time in today's Karazhan Raid with their Blessing of Protection - while keeping the entire group topped at max. health the whole time.

Forum Post of the Day: Blizzard customer service smackdown {WoW}

Jun 20th 2007 6:34AM Amulet played every opportunity the moment he posted this lie on the official forums and got literally f***ed up by a CM who KNEW that he was trying to fool Blizzard employers to fix a problem that was obviously caused by himself, not by the automated process of transferring a character.

Too bad they deleted the thread - any chance it's already submitted in one of those web archives?
