Nov 16th 2007 4:42PM You cannot run a 100+ account raiding guild with an open system like this. Even with a smaller guild, getting those 10 Kara spots filled can be just as drama-inducing as the 25 spots for SSC and beyond.
I can also see it taking forever to get anything done if you (the guild leader) wants consensus on guild issues.
It just doesn't seem like a practical way to run a guild.
Nov 16th 2007 11:13AM A guildie and I were playing a version of tetris trying to fill up the guild bank with Simple Wood and Flash Powder yesterday. He would try to remove them before I could fill up the remaining spots in a tab.
Seeing as he's a huge neat freak about the guild bank, his reactions in officer chat were priceless.
Guild bank + Vendor Trash = Comedy gold for the bored
Nov 6th 2007 5:39PM I personally am extremely excited about the new hemo changes. I think with a S2 weapon it could be a lot of fun to play with.
From a personal standpoint I imagine it will be much harder for a rogue specced PvE like myself to succeed at all against the PvP specced rogues....which is how it should be.
Nov 5th 2007 4:39PM I want to know what the weapon is that is a board with a nail in it.
Nov 5th 2007 11:37AM My Night Elf rogue proudly wears his. I ground the rep just for the tabard because I was bored. The solo runs through Underbog are fun, and you can get a few ancient lichen while you're at it if you're an herbalist.
Oct 30th 2007 11:22AM Personally, I made about 3,500 with herbalism and dailies in between raids. Once I got to that point, a good friend loaned me the rest I needed.
This was the best method for me because between the introductory Netherwing quests and herb farming with an epic flyer (so much easier) I was able to pay him back in only a couple days.
My advice is to make an arrangement with someone you trust to loan you the remaining 1-1.5k you need and use the first week of Netherwing to pay them back.
Oct 23rd 2007 9:58AM The change to cheat death is great. It gives your healer in arenas a little bit longer to get that heal off when you have a frostbolt/MS/Bigredkitty headed for you and you're low on health.
Oct 11th 2007 9:38AM I think Gruul/Mags is a huge guild killer because it's the first real 25 man experience after 10 man omgVoidfarmKara. Part of me wishes the progression went "SSC - Gruul - Mags - TK" because I think teaching people in SSC is easier and more forgiving to the inexperienced than Gruul or Mags.
Oct 4th 2007 3:11PM I have to admit, I'm not entirely sure what a sub rogue (the traditionally PvP spec) is interested in threat reduction.
But, the fact that it can be used out of stealth will definitely help against kiting in arenas.
