Breakfast Topic: Fear is the mind-killer {WoW}

Mar 17th 2010 10:55AM I remember back at level 70 when "shudder" crowd control had to be used in Heroic Shattered halls, no exception. Hunters didn't have ranged frost trap (I play a hunter, that ability has made my class utility much easier. I remember chain trapping in the Moroes fight in Kara, yet, I digress) I find it silly that we are at the point only one expansion later that we gripe about not having the trash pulls handed to us on a silver platter. In fact, I would have to say that because we have been handed easy dungeons from the beginning of Wrath up until now, people oft forget how to effectively play their class to its full utility aside from pressing buttons on the keyboard with their forehead to do DPS.

Why do hunters have a dead zone? {WoW}

Jul 10th 2007 11:46AM Dead zone for hunter is necessary. if you are willing to spend 21 talent points in marks, you get Scattershot, which effectively gets rid of the dead zone and yeah. see someone coming to your dead zone? drop a freeze, forst, or snake trap. wing clip if resist, and run out of range. a good hunter knows its quite simple to exploit this "so called weakness" to their full advantage. only a bad hunter is truly hurt by a dead zone

Meet Gweryc, the melee hunter {WoW}

Jul 9th 2007 9:46AM Im going to make a ranged Rogue. yeah, I know its against the class and stupid, but I can only fathom how much fun it will be to repeatedly click the "shoot" button and gouge when they get too close, only to run away and shoot some more.

Mage's evocation: working as intended? {WoW}

Jul 5th 2007 3:35PM Okay, I do not play mage, however, I do play hunter. In my opinion (yes I am entitled) mages are making too big a fuss over this. I say this because hunters, through their multiple aspects, have one called Aspect of the hawk, which at max rank increases RAP by 115, and then they also have Aspect of the Viper which regenerates mana according to 25% of their intellect. Okay, so heres the hunter dilema, keep hawk up which maximizes DPS or keep Viper up which regenerates mana? well, thats not it, see, because for Viper to be useful, hunters need to have points in intellect. to put stats in there, they have to sacrafice some Agility slots, +hit slots and +RAP slots and the like. Its the same type of situation, yet you don't see QQing on the hunter forums. In other words, just get over it and deal with it. do you want more sustained DPS over time, or do you want to to climax mid battle and have to wand your way out.

like blizzard says, it is working as intended with no plans to revise.

Insider Trader: Uldaman or bust! {WoW}

Jun 29th 2007 11:28AM it is possible, however, to change factions, or so I have read. one can be revered with Aldor, and then after grinding and quests, can be later revered with Scryer.

Breakfast Topic: Rogue Day! {WoW}

Jun 28th 2007 12:14PM @29 if Im not mistaken, sunder armor cannot be applied when expose armor is, which steals aggro from tanks... thats what bad rogues do anyways, they dont mitigat damage, and because of how threat works, they are the (most of the time) only other melee damage dealer besides the tank, which means they are first to steal aggro (save a crit-happy mage or 3000+ aimed shot)

well, anyways, you know what they say...

"sapped girls can't say no"

Breakfast Topic: Rogue Day! {WoW}

Jun 28th 2007 9:51AM I love rogues! pop a freeze trap behind me, flare in front of me, and when they get me, my pet starts attacking, get big and red, wing clip and kite. Gah, I love it. they sooo cute, lol

I once asked a rogue how he takes out hunters that camp like that and he said "we don't" quite the humble class IMHO

BigRedKitty: The Jump Shot {WoW}

Jun 27th 2007 3:19PM lol @ trolling trash taking BRK personal. Im sorry if you get rolled by beastial wrath in PVP. the honest-to-God truth is that Bad hunters wipe groups, and good hunters save them. there are just as many bad mages out there as there are bad hunters. the only difference is that if a bad hunter comes to the table, everyones repair bill suffers, not just their own, as it would have it for mages. I suggest you take your trolling elsewhere, and your militantism away as well.. you cause nothing but laughter with your zealous attempts at belittlement.

on a more helpful not, the castsequence macro is great, however flawed in the face that one could run through it and the serpent sting have not expired. running through it again would not be maximizing ones mana in a fight. after the castsequence macro, one would have to wait until the serpent sting is up, and then start again. the best thing to do would be to weave in 2-3 arcane shots between the cast sequence marco, IMHO.
