[UPDATE] Demonology 101: the Doomguard {WoW}

Sep 17th 2008 7:39PM Gee, back when I was doing Karazhan on my warlock I used to love using CoD on Curator because of the giant numbers you'd get back if you timed it to go off during evocate. Why do you love it on Netherspite?

Yet more beta changes to Mages {WoW}

Aug 2nd 2008 8:28PM i was referring specifcally about the prismatic cloak section. i withdraw my first reply though and see it was more of a poor choice to link previous info which makes it appear like Invisibility can be instant instead of what the current notes say.

Yet more beta changes to Mages {WoW}

Aug 2nd 2008 8:19PM do you even real the tooltips before posting a qq? Reread the tips for Prismatic Cloak and for Invisibility. Invisibility's tooltip says over 3 seconds, max rank Prismatic Cloak says reduces the fade time by 3 seconds. i don't know about you but in my world 3-3=0, thereby making it instant. if you are going to cry at least link stuff that prooves your point.

Mana and energy regeneration mechanics revamped on Beta {WoW}

Jul 30th 2008 3:16PM i'm hoping someone here can explain how this is a buff for mana casters. even though i do a lot of raiding i never really looked into the 5 second rule so i'm still relatively new to that term. as i'm reading it mana regen doesn't start for 5 seconds after your cast. if that is the case, and it will still apply to WotLK, then how is this a buff for us? the only time i really worry about mana is in boss fights, outside of that i can drink. during all boss fights i'm basically always casting, except in rare transition stages. so how will this effect me (or be a buff) since the 5 second rule will always be in effect for me?

Buying spots in raids {WoW}

Jul 15th 2008 3:42PM i love people who talk about the ease of earning drops like all that it requires is signing up 9 or 24 other people, rolling your face on the keyboard and getting all the loot. if it really is that simple than there wouldn't be a market for raid spots would there?

Poll: How much would you pay for an Amani War Bear? {WoW}

Jul 5th 2008 6:18PM i love seeing people get upset about these types of articles, it simply tells me that they want the mount but aren't able to get it, sorry guys. anyone who has attempted/completed getting a bear mount knows that having one is better than having "Hand of A'dal" after your name. i especially love the people who claim they don't care or don't want one...if you really didn't care that much about the mount why would you read the article or for that matter post on it?

Addon Spotlight: Necrosis LdC {WoW}

May 4th 2008 4:25PM i have to say that i've tried to get on board with necrosis but found that it is just too flashy, too bulky, and provides very little in terms of actual aid to warrant using it.

Shard bags now track how many shards are in it, and DoTimer handles tracking dots in a much more effecient manner. All in all I have to say that this is addon is all flash and little substance.

Why the PvP game exists in WoW, and why it's a good thing {WoW}

Apr 21st 2008 12:12PM For someone who has claimed they weren't going to visit this site again and ignore the writer you have gone out of your way to harass this one. You don't like what he said fine, ignore it, or do you respond to every post on the forums you don't like?

By giving people all of his characters you basically said "everyone who doesn't like Adam's article please login to game and harass him about it" and really wasn't that your goal? If character info is no big deal why don't you provide us a link to all your characters so we can pick apart all your HKs, Gear, Spec, etc?

Why the PvP game exists in WoW, and why it's a good thing {WoW}

Apr 20th 2008 5:47PM wow, way to jump on a writer for expressing any opinion at all. bash him for saying that the main focus of WOW is pve, bash him for saying he likes pvp...i guess you are right, you can't like both pve and pvp. pick a side and stick to it! /sarcasm off

i think if you look at both articles together they make perfect sense. in this game, as opposed to say HALO, you need to progress in the pve content to at least some degree before you can begin to play pvp. if for no other reason that shows that pve is the focus of the game. that being said, i think the case is argued that pvp while not the main focus of the game is a very crucial part of the game and that one can enjoy doing pve/pvp or (gasp) both.

The Art of War(craft): An awesome patch for PvP {WoW}

Mar 25th 2008 2:50PM i hate to break it to you but everyone in for every different battlegound thinks that the map is unfair for their side. ask anyone...the other faction always has better maps, better racials, more premades, etc. roll a toon for the other faction on the same server i'm sure you'd get roughly the same sob story from those players as well.
