Arena Season 3 armor sets are on the PTR {WoW}

Oct 16th 2007 12:03PM Because to pigeon hole a set of gear without allowing others that use other specs is wrong. I should be able to keep my current prot spec and have fun in arena and other areas. They should be able to make a set for prot that wont cross into pve but will allow us to use our given attributes(lots of stam/block/and such) to allow us to do both without making us take our PVE gear into arena which is unfair.

Oct 16th 2007 11:47AM yeah still no prot PVP gear for warriors. So meh why exclude a vital part of the game from pvp by not giving us gear that benefits our attributes instead of some cookie cutter gear that is just for DPS and ignores stats a tank could use to help them PVP/arena. We do have a crapton of life and such....if its about living the longest I think we have that purty much handled. Why should we have to PVE for gear and not be able to also PVP.

I think to leave Heroic Strike out of your system is a huge error. You see heroic strike is on a separate cooldown from the rest of your tanking abilities. That means you can cast say sunder and if you have enough rage hit HS right after words to have them both hit for a huge amount of threat. Instead of waiting for the GCD to come back for using the rest of your abilities. So with that in mind my usual cycle is....
Sheild Slam
revenge/sunder(whatever is up first)
Heroic Strike (right after revenge/sunder)
SBlock or sunder till i can use devistate
Then after every sunder/SS/revenge/Sblock i hit HS if I have the rage.

This system allows me to create a rage dump into an ability that has amazing returns. You will find your threat will go up substantially faster using this method. It is especially useful in boss fights were you are full of rage and need something to dump into. HS after every ability=ALOT of threat.

So HS is viable and important

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: A Few Wishes {WoW}

Jul 27th 2007 6:22PM I think an addition for a prot warrior to regen health would be so beneficial. In fact a ability that helps all specs do that. Convert rage into health. I realize this is a druid ability but here's my take on it. Have the ability have a hangup. One would be it could only be used outside of combat. That means after a fight you convert all your leftover rage into health to allow you to continue on.

Make it a percentage and the hang up would be that if you used it all on execute or something else then your SOL. But if you have half life and a lot of rage left after any fight. You can then take that and convert it. Such as 300hp per rage point or something. Makes grinding and farming so much easier.

Another addition I would like would be what you said. Shield spikes suck and arnt worth the ore used to make them. If they improved them to allow us to do damage with our shield as you said I would be so much more happy.

Lastly, get ride of the damage increase in berserker stance!!! Its an annoyance and no one likes being in that stance because of the increase in damage they take which doesn't give a great enough damage increase to be beneficial at all. Its uncalled for. Buff the stances more, make them truly what they stand for. Make the buffs make more sense.

Jun 21st 2007 9:00PM The Eternium Greathelm off the Opera event no longer looks terrible. It not looks like the Bold helm but a different color. I wonder what other items were changed in look.

Breakfast Topic: How did you pick your class? {WoW}

Jun 21st 2007 3:38PM I rolled A warrior back when Whirlwind was the S*$# back when you could have a 60 help you get it in the 30's. And back when you could kill people at Tauren Mill. I chose a dwarf warrior because I love dwarfs! And I really enjoyed axes. I miss PvP back then. Now I tank tank tank. The warrior class forces you to learn all the other classes when you tank. It requires a lot of leadership and knowledge so you don't wipe. My lil tank taught me all about WoW. though it was a PAIN to level up it still wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I will never drop him. I loved my warrior.
