May 17th 2009 10:30PM "Once you've established a fair playing field for PvP, you can then tweak bosses accordingly by adding/removing HP, Adds, etc. I never understood their logic in having a PvE game, and balancing the PvP around it. PvE is much more static and easier to change with constant values."
Yeah, except PvP tweaks to damage/abilities alter class DPS. Altering class DPS makes one better than the other, which makes people angry, and trivializes a, for example, mage over feral cat druid. Bosses are static, but class damage (which is supposed to be relatively even) is not, especially when you factor in PvP changes.

Jan 23rd 2009 9:13AM My friend will constantly carry around the two so that, if he is ever attacked by an ally and wins, he can lay down a "camp"fire to let them know he's there to stay.
I'm sure he'll be glad to find out about the news.

Jul 12th 2008 4:45PM I agree to #2. I liked your previous column and fairly thoroughly agree with it. Frostfire Bolt (Brain Bolt) looks appealing, but everything looks very out in the open.
As-is, Fireball seems like a better raiding spell, but we will have to see about the new elementalist builds that will be out there. For PvP, I doubt it'll be used at all. Sure, more than fireball (and probably frostbolt), but we all know Mages aren't supposed to stand still and cast in PvP.
