First look at Tailoring in Wrath {WoW}

Aug 14th 2008 11:51AM The BoP spellthread isn't too surprising for me. They're doing the same for LW, after all.

25 Easter eggs of the Burning Crusade {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2008 12:08PM One of my favorite easter eggs in BC is the group of Draenei wandering in the Exodar - they're all named after Trill hosts of the Dax symbiote from Star Trek.

Shield me, my love {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2008 3:18PM I agree, I find that the Azure-Shield of Coldarra is a nice fit for how easy it is to get. Add in the additional shields in 2.4 and the problem is beginning to be solved.

There's also the Netherwing quest shield easily available at 70, too.

Reviving the pugs {WoW}

Oct 24th 2007 9:29AM As Pugs tend to go, I've found a lot rely on the ability of the tank/person marking to not get adds. If you get adds, you probably wipe, and everyone is unhappy with wiping. It's still possible, however, to finish and have a good pug if you get adds once or twice or wipe a few times. Frankly, a lot of people dont understand it.

Also, if everyone has the time, take it. If you go slow and steady and are sure of every pull you're making, you're far more likely to end up happy in the end.

Breakfast Topic: Your favorite silly things {WoW}

Oct 1st 2007 9:03AM I'm a huge trekkie, and I loved the NPCs in Exodar named after five of the nine lives of Dax.

WoW Moviewatch: Ruler of the Bracelet Prologue {WoW}

Aug 10th 2007 1:22PM I'm Horde and I get the joke :)

Deviate Scale Delight FTW!

The least visited instance... and why {WoW}

Jul 26th 2007 2:39PM I haven't bothered to get or finish the staff of Celebras for Maraudon, but I've been lucky enough to run it with a guy that has the last few times. I remember going through purple was boring, tedious, and not nearly as fun as Inner Maraudon, which is one of the most beautiful parts of WoW (especially Earth Song Falls).

With my main, I've gone from level 1-52 in just over two months, but I don't think I'll ever see the inside of DM, Scholo, Strat, LBRS, UBRS, BWL, ZG, MC, or Naxx. Nobody does them at all anymore.

Breakfast Topic: Outland or Azeroth? {WoW}

Jul 26th 2007 1:20PM Personally, I started playing in the end of May and am now leveling my first character from 1-70. I've had a lot of fun and recently hit level 52, but the only time I didn't have fun was in Hillsbrad - I'm on a PvP server and leveling was a chore there - just not a fun exercise. I'm looking forward to getting to Outlands but am rather annoyed that I probably won't do Scholo, Strat, MC, or Naxx.

From 40-50, the areas I leveled in were Swamp of Sorrows (40-44) and Feralas (44-50), followed by Felwood for 51 on up. I had a lot of fun in those areas and leveling 40-50, but I think it had a lot to do with the fact that I stayed as far away from quests in Stranglethorn as I could get.

Enter to win a Spectral Tiger Mount from WoW Insider! {WoW}

Jul 25th 2007 7:11PM Oh that is one cool mount. Ghost tigers ftw!

The collision of Hogwarts and Azeroth {WoW}

Jul 25th 2007 4:55PM I consciously stayed away from the WoW forums and trade channel until I had it read because I knew there would probably be people who were spoiling it in both places.

I'm a gamer and a fantasy fan - I loved the lore that was built up in WC and WC2, so I liked the idea of coming back to that world (though it had changed a bit) and playing in it, too.
