The nipples of dragons {WoW}

Dec 20th 2008 8:44PM Unfortunately with the addition of the vault of archevon its even easier. As well as the easy as pie PVE aspect of the game. Really I think pvp epics are probably much more frustrating and difficult to get for many classes than their pve counterparts. So really, more or less, they've made it so easy to get PVE epics you will always see bloody people in arena using pve epics that they only spent a week farming because it's better than there previous crap lvl 74 greens.

Breakfast topic: Forgive and forget? {WoW}

Dec 19th 2008 11:33AM Well, I know that i won't be agreed with mostly because I read a lot of comments on this site, and have a pretty good feel for the opinion of the general census of readers. Nevertheless warlocks are in a very sad sad state in pvp. I know many of you consider arena,wintergrasp and bg's to be a meta-game or mini game, but to me its why i wake up in the morning and boot up my pc.

I know that we aren't doing to shabbily in pve. To many of you, fixing warlocks in pvp means to somehow imbalance them in pve. I can tell you now that it would just take some creative thinking and some PTR testing. I don't want to be op, I just want to have more survivability than a lvl1 critter. With the loss of green armor values, SL nerf, unavailability of 900 resil cap, and fairly underwhelming 70-80 baseline talents (I'm looking at you demonic teleport) there is a lot piled up on top of the aspiring pvp warlock.

Some may say L2play nub or qq moar but seriously look at our representation in top 100 arena teams. It's nowhere near where it should be. I'm all for a level playing field. I like feeling like i have accomplished something. I don't however like the feeling of nearly impossible odds. I know I am not the greatest warlock around. So what chance do I have to enjoy myself in pvp if I get ambushed for 11k? I can't even get a shadowbolt to crit for 9k+ in pve.

O, and i also don't forgive wowinsider for the lack of warlock columns. Seems to me like the Blood Pact column author rerolled DK like most of the other locks I know. I have heard that we are also the least played class atm as well. Which to some degree explains the arena representation numbers.
However I think its a tale tell sign that something is askew.

In conclusion, more pvp balance plz

and more Blood Pact columns

It has some really amazing and powerful organizing tools... including an auto restack perfect for such an occasion!

The Art of War(craft): The pointlessness of PvP in early Wrath {WoW}

Dec 9th 2008 2:52AM I agree with the author of this post on most points. I foresaw this though. I spent all mah honor i had stockpiled on a new cloak and trinket and headed into wrath. Since i hit 80 I've recapped my honor, gotten my black war bear, and i am just 2,000 rep away from my justicar title.

Unfortunately all of this pvp ive been doing is going to hurt come s5. When all of the pve'rs hop into arena and wipe my face on the floor with there t7 while i wear crafted resil armor. Hopefully i can get some pve epics to compete with until then, but like the author I cringe at this prospect. I really don't dislike pve, but unfortunately I play on one of the most under progressed alliance servers full of retards you could imagine.

I honestly think they should have implemented some honor sinks to keep pvp'rs competitive in pvp come the new season. I can guarantee that the highest ranked teams will be those who have their pve affairs in order. I can only imagine the qq post that would have resulted if this happenend the opposite way. If they had no raids implemented at launch and the only way to steamroll through pve content was to PVP for a month to get pvp gear which of course in my bizarro universe would be the only way to be succesful in pve content. Too bad for me things didnt happen this way instead.

Name one thing you'd change about your class {WoW}
