Nov 8th 2007 5:51PM The only way I would want to be represent the card game by having a loot card would be if I actually thought it was any good. I know the spectral tiger is by far the coolest mount in the game, and trust me, that means a lot for me, but saying: "I paid $500 for it" or "I play the card game" which is the only 2 options, (except: "my little brother plays the card game but not wow", yeah right!) is not something I would be proud of.
Nov 8th 2007 6:56AM @20 it was previously mentioned this is an arena change, and you obviously haven't played in any decent rated arena, sure a hunter can kill people if they are pve geared, but then again so can every other class. Sure Bestial Wrath is a IWIN button in duels, but saying its OP in arena is saying POM Pyroblast is what mages should play in arena. Currently the only viable option for a hunter is mm/surv, and even then you will have to go play with inexperienced people where you have at least twice their gear, in some cases teach them how to play properly and help them gear up, just to have them once you help them reach ~2000 rating say: "thanks for the help, but I think we would do better without a hunter" and replace you with a warlock/frost mage.
This is ignoring the fact that because 2.3 buffs priests and rogues survivability (I would mention druids survivability buffs too, but they are underrepresented in 5v5), hunters are going to be the main target of nukes, and there's no way you can get a 3 second spell off with multiple people targeting you and 100% spellpushback, not to mention all they need to do to cancel the spell is moving into melee range or out of los/range.
Sep 9th 2007 5:39PM Imo it's not a big deal either way, it was for arcane missiles, but priests and warlocks have enough DOTs so you don't benefit from moving out of LOS unless you abuse it.
Btw my main is a hunter, we're not all crybabies, some try to overcome the weaknesses of a class by adapting rather than whining on the forums for buffs (even though the latter is quite effective).
