Nov 18th 2008 3:15PM "To support the complex calculations required to create the game’s graphics, The9 owns more than 10 supercomputer systems."
Graphics are rendered on user's PCs not on Blizzard's servers. If they did, people would be able to run WoW on a 386 with no problems. Do your homework New York Times!!
Oct 28th 2008 3:12PM Fall damage is a percentage of your total health. If you can survive as a level 70 tank with 40k health you can survive as a naked level 1 clothie with a cold.
Oct 13th 2008 10:22AM I believe they continue giving XP each day. I did the Tuskar one a second time the other day and I think I got XP.
Oct 9th 2008 10:47AM Wow people really like to throw out the old "slap in the face" at just about every opportunity. It's getting pretty cliched at this point. Enough already.
Oct 6th 2008 12:12PM I think you mean lowly voice actor. But maybe you are lonely as well...
Sep 24th 2008 1:11PM Come on, a DVD drive costs about 45 cents now and you can get a DVD burner for $1.95. It's not like they're making it so you have to buy a $200 video card just to play the game.
Sep 23rd 2008 1:21PM Another small thing: Mob, NPC and enemy PC health and mana now show absolute values rather than percentages. Gone are the days of health estimation mods!
I actually don't think I've seen this mentioned anywhere on WoW Insider, which I thought was really weird.
Aug 27th 2008 12:47PM The health returned for Vampiric Embrace is 15% of the damage you do, so +healing (from spellpower) has no effect on it.
Aug 27th 2008 11:59AM Would you care to share that math with the rest of the class?
